00:00Every year, thousands of bright Malaysian students face the same challenge,

00:05the desire to study but not the means to afford it.

00:08Many, especially from B40 families, rural areas or with disabilities,

00:14find their education cut short by financial barriers or a lack of information about available aid.

00:20To bridge this gap, the Higher Education Ministry has expanded its scholarships and financial aid programs,

00:25ensuring that no Malaysian is left behind.

00:29Among the sponsorship programs provided are the Public University Foundation Financial Assistance,

00:35the B40 T-VET Scholarship for Diploma and Bachelor's Degree Studies,

00:39and the Community College Student Financial Assistance.

00:43The Ministry also provides sponsorship through the MyBrain Science and MyBrain 2.0 programs

00:48to support knowledge development and research at the postgraduate level.

00:52For Tashmita Chandran, an accounting student at Polytechnic Port Dixon,

00:56the B40 T-VET Scholarship was life-changing after her family struggled during the pandemic.

01:02The scholarship has really helped me to focus on my studies.

01:07Because before, I was receiving the scholarship.

01:09It's really difficult to continue my study comfortably.

01:13And when I receive the support, I really can focus on my studies with peace of mind.

01:19Similarly, Universiti Pucca Malaysia student Izzul Hakimi Rosli, who is partially blind,

01:25said the BKOKU scholarship allowed him to focus on his studies without financial worry.

01:31We don't know that KPT provides various businesses,

01:35but for me, what I know is the BKOKU.

01:38They can combine the learnings in the field that they're doing,

01:42for their time to meet them,

01:44so that they don't think they're weak from others.
