Esclarecidos was a Spanish pop rock and new wave ensemble from Madrid established in 1981. They achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by pop and for founding the independent label Grabaciones Accidentales alongside the ensemble Décima Víctima. The ensemble consisted of the vocalist Cristina Lliso, the drummer and lyricist Alfonso Pérez, the saxophonist Nacho Lliso, and the bassist Coyán Manzano. Their recording career began with the debut single “Música para Convenios Colectivos” (1982) and the single “Pánico en la Convención” (1982). Esclarecidos achieved professional recognition for the eponymous debut studio recording Esclarecidos (1983) and the studio recording Por Amor al Comercio (1987). Their discography included the studio recording De Espaldas a Ti (1989), which featured the track “Tucán”. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the compilation recording Un Agujero en el Cielo (1993). The group became inactive in 1997 following the formation of the project Lliso by several members.
