John D. Boswell, also known as melodysheep, is an electronic musician. Boswell was educated at Gonzaga Preparatory School and Western Washington University and is best known for creating the Symphony of Science project, which combines speeches of famous scientists with music. Critics praised the project for its sincerity and intentions. The project gained further traction when Third Man Records released a 7-inch single of "A Glorious Dawn" for the 75th anniversary of the birth of Carl Sagan. Symphony of Science was also released as an album in 2012 via Dirgefunk Records and includes tracks like "A Wave of Reason", "We Are All Connected", and "The Case for Mars". Boswell has also worked as a producer and composer for PBS and National Geographic.
