Arthur Miles, born November 14, 1949, in Indiana, was an American blues, jazz, and R&B singer. Miles moved to California as a child and began performing in Richmond, San Francisco. His first professional exposure came at age 14, when he led local bands, and he also studied at the School of Natural Voice in Los Angeles under Patricia Warner. In 1984, Miles then moved to Italy and collaborated with several Italian musicians, including Paolo Conte, Andrea Mingardi, and Zucchero. He also appeared on the television programs Festivalbar and Cantagiro, and performed at the Umbria Jazz Festival, as well as the Italian edition of The Voice Senior between 2021 and 2022. His solo albums include A Love for All Seasons (1991), Face the Blues (1998), Living the Blues (2012), and Blue Avenue (2017). He passed away on July 31, 2024 at age 74.
