Scandinavian Music Group is a Finnish band established in Helsinki in 2002. The group was founded by former members of the ensemble Ultra Bra, including Terhi Kokkonen, Joel Melasniemi, and Antti Lehtinen. Their recording career began with the debut single “Kun tuuli oli viilee” (2002), which reached number 3 in Finland. The ensemble reached wider visibility with their debut studio recording Onnelliset kohtaa (2002), which reached Number 1 on the Finnish charts and received a gold certification. Scandinavian Music Group released the studio recording Nimikirjaimet (2004), which reached number 11, and the studio recording Hölmö rakkaus ylpeä sydän (2006), which reached number 5. Their discography included the studio recording Missä olet Laila? (2007) and the studio recording Palatkaa Pariisiin! (2009), which reached number 2. The ensemble released the studio recording Manner (2011) and the studio recording Terminal 2 (2014), both of which reached Number 1. Their later releases included the studio recording Ikuinen ystävä (2022) and the studio recording Rakkaani, (2025).
