Ursprung Buam, a folk music group from Stumm im Zillertal, Austria, was formed in 1993 and initially Martin Brugger, Andreas Brugger, and Manfred Höllwarth. Their breakthrough came when they won first place in the ORF's folk music hit parade, boosting their popularity in Austria and other European countries. The group released their debut album A Riesenstimmung Aus Den Zillertal in 1998, followed by albums such as Aufgeigt Weacht (1999) and I Bin Der Teufelsgeigerbua (2000). In 2001, Ursprung Buam received the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for Best Folk Music Group. They continued to release albums such as Damenwahl Hamma Heit (2001) and S'Original Vom Zillertal (2004), with several achieving gold status in Austria. The group also contributed to the soundtrack of the 2008 film Die Österreichische Methode, providing the title "Zwei rehbraune Augen".
