Blood (also stylized as ̶B̶L̶O̶O̶D̶) is a Japanese band formed in 2002 in Osaka by Kiwamu and Kaede, who recruited Dai and Taichi. During their first period they released the singles "Bloodtype," "Morphine/Collector," and "Tsuioku: I Remember You," before vocalist Dai left in 2003. With new vocalist Takeshi, Blood released their self-titled mini-album (2004) and performed at Fanime and Anime Expo in the United States. After Taichi and Takeshi departed in 2004, Fu-ki joined the band. This band later released the Vengeance For Blood series and held worldwide touring across Europe, the United States, Mexico, and Australia. Other releases include Spleen ~Despair~ (2006) and Les Fleurs Du Mal (2007). The band ended its initial run with Lost Sky (2009) and ceased activities after their final tour that year. In 2011, they reunited with several new members.
