Ivelee Patrick "Pat" Flowers, born on October 16, 1917 in Detroit, Michigan, was an American jazz pianist and singer. He established his reputation as a stride pianist in the 1940s and 1950s, with a repertoire ranging from Frédéric Chopin to Fats Waller. His style was influenced by masters of piano stride, notably Thomas Wright "Fats" Waller, under whom he studied. Following Waller's death, Flowers took over his orchestra, Fats Waller & His Rhythm, and recorded with them in the mid-1940s. Flowers passed away on October 6, 2000, in Detroit.
