Hafez Nazeri, born on August 29, 1979, in Tehran, is a Kurdish-Iranian singer and composer. He began his musical journey as part of his father Shahram Nazeri's ensemble, performing traditional Persian music. His early performances included concerts with notable ensembles such as Kamkars Ensemble and Shams Ensemble. In 2014, Nazeri released Rumi Symphony Project: Untold, a chart-topping album featuring over 42 Grammy Award-winning musicians. The album, which took over 5000 hours of recording studio work, showcased his unique approach to blending traditional Iranian music with Western classical structures. He also notably collaborated with Deepak Chopra on the translation and introduction for the project. Nazeri's performances have taken him across North America, including venues like Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Hall.
