Olivier Baumont, born on August 15, 1960, in Saint-Dié, France, is a French harpsichordist. He studied at the Conservatoire d'Annecy and the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, earning first prizes in harpsichord and chamber music. He further refined his skills under Huguette Dreyfus and Kenneth Gilbert and participated in Gustav Leonhardt's courses in Cologne. His career includes performances at festivals such as those of Radio France and Montpellier, Ambronay, and La Roque d'Anthéron. In 1991, he became the artistic director of the Festival Couperin, and he joined the faculty of the Conservatoire de Paris as a professor in 2001. His discography includes the albums Œuvres pour clavecin (1990), Intégrale des livres de pièces de clavecin 1-4 (1992), and Suites pour clavecin (1995). He also authored books such as Couperin, le musicien des rois (1998) and La musique à Versailles (2007).
