Éric Aubier, born in 1960, is a classical concert trumpeter. At age 14, he entered Maurice André's class at the Conservatoire de Paris, becoming the youngest graduate. He won international competitions and, at 19, was appointed soloist at the Paris Opera orchestra by Rolf Liebermann. Since 1995, he has focused on an international concert performing and teaching career. He formed a trumpet and organ duo with Thierry Escaich and has created over 25 works dedicated to him by various composers. His discography includes more than a hundred works for labels like Sony Classical, Universal, Calliope, Bis, and Indésens Records since 2006. Notable albums include Henri Tomasi (2012) and Rhapsody in Blue with the French Republican Guard Band (2013).
