Horst Frank, born on May 28, 1929, in Lübeck, Germany, was a singer and actor. He began his career primarily as an actor, gaining recognition for roles such as the major Von Hollwitz in La Chatte sort ses griffes (1960) and Théo in Les Tontons flingueurs (1963). Frank's music career included the release of the single "Meine Zit mit dir/Für dich" (1979) and the album Lampenfieber (1989). His acting career spanned over three decades, featuring in numerous films and television series, including creating the German TV show Airport Einheit Spezial in 1992. Frank passed away on May 25, 1999, just days before his 70th birthday, due to a cerebral hemorrhage.
