Georg Bissen, born in Hamburg, Germany, is a dance music artist, producer, and DJ who relocated to New York City. He has released more than 100 original tracks and remixes during his career, including the albums Global Trance USA and Underground Anthems 3 on Discover Records/Recoverworld. He is one half of the electronic music project Exostate on Enhanced Music. In 2012, he partnered with Victor Dinaire to produce remixes for artists including M83, Major Lazer, JoJo, and Ruth B. He also collaborated with COPILOT Music and Sound on a cover of Carlinhos Brown's "Maria Caipirinha (Samba da Bahia)" for Visa's 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign. In 2015, he and Dinaire composed the soundtrack for the documentary Glory Daze: The Rise and Fall of Michael Alig. He later joined the performance art band Soul in the Machine and has also written theme songs for the television series Pregnant in Heels and Cover Shot.
