Beautés Vulgaires was a French rock ensemble from Toulouse established in 1995. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by rock, ska, reggae, and chanson française and for a lineup featuring saxophones and multiple vocalists. The ensemble consisted of the musicians Alex, Clément, Régis, Julien, Sébastien, Samuel, Punky, Sylvain, Ruben Guiu, Nico, Fred, Nico, and Jeremy. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Des Lyres et des Boires (1998). Beautés Vulgaires achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Zoo de Nuit (2001), which achieved professional recognition for selling 15,000 copies and featuring the song "Perdre la raison". Their discography included the studio recording Asile de Flou (2003), which was recorded after a tour of over 300 dates. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the studio recording À Part Ça, Tout Va Bien... (2007), which reached number 178 in the French charts. The group became inactive in 2008 after announcing an indefinite hiatus on September 13, 2008.
