Ost+Front is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band from Berlin, founded in 2008 by Patrick Lange. The band's initial breakthrough came in 2011 at the M’era Luna Festival, where they performed with Chris L. as frontman. Shortly after, Chris L. left the band, and Patrick Lange took over as the lead vocalist under the pseudonym "Herrmann Ostfront." Their debut album, Ave Maria (2012), featured the controversial music video "Ich liebe es", which received critical attention for its explicit content. The album entered the German charts at number 68. Following this, Ost+Front released several albums, including Olympia (2014), Ultra (2016), and Adrenalin (2018). Another notable album is Dein Helfer in der Not (2020). Notable singles include "Liebeslied" (2014) and "Sternenkinder" (2015). Ost+Front's music features a Neue Deutsche Härte style. The band also performed at various festivals, including the Blackfield Festival and M’era Luna Festival.
