Mammola Sandon, known professionally as Flo Sandon's, was born on June 30, 1924, in Vicenza, Italy, and was a pop and jazz singer. Her career began in 1944 at a show for the Red Cross during World War II. She gained fame in 1952 through her work on the film Anna, where she dubbed Silvana Mangano’s voice for two songs, "Non dimenticar (che t'ho voluto bene)" and "El negro zumbon". Both tracks were highly successful, with "Non dimenticar" selling a million copies in Italy. She participated in several Festival di Sanremo, winning in 1953 with "Viale d'autunno", performed as a duet with Carla Boni. She also won the Festival of Naples in 1960 with "Serenata a Margellina". After the death of her husband, Natalino Otto, she retired from performing but made an appearance in the musical Gli uomini sono tutti bambini in 1994. She passed away on November 16, 2006, in Rome, Italy, due to Alzheimer's disease.
