Daniel Landa, born Daniel Landa on November 4, 1968, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is a singer, songwriter, and actor. He graduated with honors from Prague Conservatory, studying music and drama. In 1988, Landa co-founded the oi! punk band Orlík with David Matásek, releasing two albums before disbanding in 1991. His solo career began in 1993 with the album Valčík, followed by notable releases such as Chcíply dobrý víly (1995), Pozdrav z fronty (1997), and Konec (1999). Landa's material often explores patriotic and political themes. He has also composed music for films, written musicals, and acted in several productions. His extensive touring resulted in live albums like Vltava Tour (2003) and Bouře (2006). In 2015, he released the album Žito, marking a significant milestone in his career.
