Bruno Romani, born on 9 January 1960, was an Italian saxophonist, flautist and composer from Udine, whose early studies in flute and saxophone led him to join a local jazz collective at 15. In 1983, he founded the post‑punk band Detonazione, releasing Riflessi conseguenti (1984) and Ultimi pezzi (1989) before shifting to jazz in 1989.
