Trusty, an American punk rock band, was formed in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1989. The group released its debut EP, A Name to Depend On, on Soma Records that year, followed by a self-titled LP on Truant Records in 1990. After relocating to Washington, D.C., in 1992, Trusty became part of the city’s punk scene and released notable albums including Goodbye, Dr. Fate (1995) and The Fourth Wise Man (1996), both on Dischord Records. The band was the first group from outside Washington, D.C., to be signed by the influential label. Trusty disbanded in early 1998. In 2008, DC-Jam Records reissued the band’s demo album, Demo.
