Kristina Hautala, born June 28, 1948 in Stockholm, Sweden, is a Swedish-Finnish singer. Her musical career began in 1966 with the single “En koskaan”, a Finnish version of “You Don't Have to Say You Love Me”, which entered the Finnish Top Ten and peaked at number 6. She toured nationally in the summer of 1967 and headlined with Lasse Mårtenson in a record-setting engagement at the Café Adlon in Helsinki in late 1967. In 1968, she represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Kun kello käy”, which finished joint 16th in the final, while the single reached number 12 in Finland. The same year, she released the collaborative album Kristina & Lasse (1968). By 1969, she had released eleven singles, including Finnish covers of English and Italian hits. In 1970, she signed with EMI-Columbia, releasing the single “Kop kop, ken lie?”, her final commercial release. After returning to Stockholm in 1972, she made a one-off return to singing in 2003 with the album Hetki tää (2003) alongside the Matti Viita-aho Group.
