Anita Lipnicka, born on June 13, 1975, in Piotrków Trybunalski, is a Polish singer and songwriter. At age 15, she worked as a model. From 1991 to 1993, she was the vocalist of the Piotrków band Certificado. In 1993, Lipnicka joined Varius Manx as lead singer, achieving national success with their debut album Emu, which reached platinum status in spring 1994 and won the Sopot Music Festival. In 1996, Lipnicka left the band for a solo career, releasing her first album Wszystko się może zdarzyć, which received triple platinum certification. She was nominated 13 times for the Fryderyk Award throughout her career and released subsequent albums including To co naprawdę (1998) and Moje oczy są zielone (2000).
