Adrian Leaper is an English conductor born in 1953. He achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by his leadership of Spanish orchestras and for his extensive recordings for the label Naxos Records. Leaper achieved professional recognition for a career that began after he studied horn and conducting at the Royal Academy of Music. He achieved professional recognition for serving as the co-principal horn of the Philharmonia Orchestra for eight years. His recording career included serving as the principal conductor of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria between 1994 and 2001. Leaper achieved professional recognition for serving as the conductor of the RTVE Symphony Orchestra in Madrid from 2001 to 2010. He achieved professional recognition for conducting all four major London ensembles and orchestras in Moscow, Vienna, and Prague. His discography included recordings for the label Naxos Records featuring other radio and symphony ensembles around the world.
