Eero Väre

Eero Väre, born Eero Wäre on February 22, 1913, in Turku, Finland, was a Finnish musician and singer. He began his career in the 1930s performing with the orchestra Ramblers and later studied singing and violin. He sang on recordings for the Kristall label in Berlin in December 1940. After World War II, Väre joined orchestras led by Ossi Aalto and Erkki Aho. By the 1940s, he was one of Finland's most recognized singers alongside Henry Theel. In 1953, Väre joined the quartet Kipparikvartetti and later led his own orchestra in the following decade. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, he also served as a private vocal coach, mentoring many future notable singers. Eero Väre passed away on June 11, 1972, in Helsinki.
