Bodo Wartke, born on May 21, 1977, in Hamburg, West Germany, is a German pianist, singer-songwriter, and musical cabaret artist. He began a music career by studying music education at the Berlin University of the Arts. Wartke was a member of SAGO, the academy for poetry and music founded by Christof Stählin, from 1998 to 2004. He released several albums, including Noah war ein Archetyp – Zweite Fassung (2011), Klaviersdelikte (2012), and Ich denke, also sing ich – live 2009 (2009). Wartke became known for piano cabaret performances and toured extensively across the German-speaking world. In 2021 and 2022, he celebrated a 25-year stage anniversary with a jubilee tour. Other notable album releases include Was, wenn doch? (2015) and Wandelmut (2020).
