Dry Kill Logic is an American heavy metal band from Westchester County, New York, formed in 1995. Initially known as Hinge and briefly Hinge AD, the group released its first EP, 'Cause Moshing is Good Fun!, in 1997 under its own label, Psychodrama Records. After signing with Roadrunner Records in 2000, the band changed its name to Dry Kill Logic due to a copyright dispute with a recording studio. Its debut studio album, The Darker Side of Nonsense, was released on June 5, 2001, and sold approximately 100,000 copies worldwide. Following extensive touring with acts including Fear Factory and Slayer, the band parted ways with Roadrunner Records in October 2002. Its second studio album, The Dead and Dreaming, was released on October 5, 2004, via Psychodrama Music Group, followed by touring that included the 2005 Gigantour arena tour with Dave Mustaine. After a period of inactivity starting in the late 2000s, the band returned to music in December 2018 and signed with eOne Music in July 2019, releasing the single "Vices" on September 6, 2019. The group also released the single "Don't See Ghosts" on September 18, 2020.
