La Cabra Mecánica is a Spanish pop-rock group led by Miguel Ángel Hernando "Lichis." Their debut album, Cuando me suenan las tripas, produced by Cataldo Torelli for DRO Records, received positive reviews and featured the single "Reina de la mantequilla." In 1999, their second album, Cabrón, led to a tour with Celtas Cortos in 2000. The band's third album, Vestidos de domingo (2001), produced by Alejo Stivel, included the hit single "La lista de la compra" and collaborations with María Jiménez. In 2003, they released their first live album, Ni jaulas ni peceras. Their studio album, Hotel Lichis (2005), featured thirteen new tracks. They disbanded in 2009 after releasing the compilation album Carne de canción, followed by a farewell tour with Fito & Fitipaldis. In 2022, the band reunited for the Cuando me suenan las tripas 25 aniversario tour, marking the 25th anniversary of its debut album. The group continued performing at concerts and festivals over the following years, including a tour in 2025, and announced another tour in 2026 celebrating its best-known songs.
