Solenne Païdassi is a French violinist and educator who was born in 1985 in Nice. She began musical education at age four and later studied at institutions including the Conservatoire de Genève, the Royal Academy of Music, and the Curtis Institute of Music. Païdassi achieved a major breakthrough in 2010 after winning the first prize at the Concours international Marguerite-Long-Jacques-Thibaud. She has performed with orchestras including the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and was the first violin for the Orchestre national de Belgique between 2018 and 2020. Her discography includes the studio albums The Art of the Violin (2013), Szymanowski Stravinsky (2014), and Bach, Sonates & partitas (2019). She is a professor at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf.
