Lucie, a Czech rock band, was formed in 1985 by guitarist Robert Kodym and bassist Petr Chovanec (P.B.CH.). They added drummer Tomáš Waschinger. In 1988, Lucie played their first concert at the Chmelnice club in Prague and later performed at the Zastav To concert at Žofín Palace on Slavonic Island. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1990, winning a golden record. The band's second studio album In the Sky was released in 1991, solidifying their position as the most popular band in the country with a victory in the Annual Czechoslovak Music Awards. The band's notable albums include Černý kočky mokrý žáby (1994), which won five awards at the Czech Grammys, and Větší než malé množství lásky (1998). Lucie went through several lineup changes and creative breaks, notably from October 2004 to December 2012. The band reunited for a private concert on December 7, 2012.
