Patrick Andy, born around 1960 in Clarendon Parish, Jamaica, was a reggae singer whose stage name was a reference to his vocal similarity to the older reggae singer Horace Andy. He began performing in church and school before starting his recording career in the mid-1970s with producer Yabby You, often covering songs by Horace Andy, such as "Every Tongue Shall Tell" and "Youths of Today". In 1978, he had a hit on the United Kingdom-based Grove label with "Woman, Woman, Woman", a collaboration with Ranking Barnabas, followed by the solo hit "My Angel". In the early 1980s, he recorded with Joseph Hoo Kim at Channel One Studios, yielding hits such as "Tired Fe Lick Weed Inna Bush" and "Pretty Me". His discography includes the collaborative albums Showdown vol. 7 (1984) with Wayne Smith, Two New Superstars (1985) with Frankie Jones, and Clash of the Andys (1985) with Horace Andy. He died on April 28, 2022.
