Daniele Pollini, born in Milan in 1978, is an Italian classical pianist and conductor. He studied piano under Franco Scala and debuted in 1997 at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. After participating in international competitions and festivals, including the Ruhr Piano Festival and the Salzburg Festival, he performed concerts in Paris and New York. In 2014, he debuted as a conductor, leading orchestras across Spain, Italy, and France, which included conducting his father, Maurizio Pollini, in performances of Ludwig van Beethoven. His discography on Deutsche Grammophon includes a collaborative release of Claude Debussy's Préludes, Book II and En blanc et noir with his father, alongside a solo album featuring Frédéric Chopin's Etudes, Op. 10, and works by Alexander Scriabin and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
