I use Zoho Books for my small freelance business and I really like how it keeps everything organized and saves me a ton of time. The invoices look professional right out of the box and clients can pay online with one click, thanks to the flawless Stripe integration. Auto bank feeds and reconciliation save me so much time as well, eliminating any need for manual entry nonsense. Recurring invoices and payment reminders running on autopilot is another big plus, and the price is much cheaper than QuickBooks but still feels just as capable for a small setup. The mobile app is great—letting me snap receipts and log expenses on the go. I love how simple and clean Zoho Books is—everything just works without feeling overwhelming. It's straightforward, affordable, and keeps my freelance finances running smoothly without stressing me out. The switch from QuickBooks was smooth too, and the importing process was very straightforward. For a one-person business, Zoho Books helps me get paid faster and lets me focus on doing the actual work instead of chasing paperwork. Love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer support can be slow: Chat is usually okay, but if I need something more complex (like a weird tax setup), ticket responses sometimes take 24–48 hours. Advanced customizations are tricky: Things like deeply customized workflows or reports take some digging into their developer tools or modules. Inventory features feel basic: If I ever need more than simple tracking, I hear it’s not as robust as dedicated tools. No built-in payroll in all regions: Payroll integration is limited depending on where you are. Occasional small UI quirks: Like the search function not always finding old transactions quickly, or needing a few extra clicks for some actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
