TAKE – verb: to reach for and hold in one’s hands or get into one’s possession, power or control.

Logan Mitchell is a man who’s always been more than happy to take what he wants. It’s a philosophy that’s proven lucrative in both his business and personal life, and never was it more apparent than the night he laid eyes on Tate Morrison. After pulling out all the stops and convincing the sexy bartender to give him a try—he’s hooked.
Now, Logan finds himself in a predicament that demands more from him than a smart-ass answer and his innate ability to walk away when things get too deep.
He has a choice to make, and it’ll force him to do something he’s never done before—take a chance.

Tate Morrison knows all about taking a chance. He took the biggest one of his life the night he showed up at Logan’s apartment to explore his unexpected reaction to the man.
Ever since then, he’s thought about little else.
At first he was convinced his attraction was based solely on his body’s curiosity. But the more time he spends with the silver-tongued lawyer, the more Tate realizes that their physical chemistry is only the beginning.
He’s starting to catch a glimpse of what life with Logan would be like, and it’s one full of excitement and satisfaction—a far cry from what he had in the past with his soon to be ex-wife.

Each man will face their fears as they begin to understand the true meaning of give and take. Their feelings for one another will be tested, as will their very beliefs. But now that they’ve found love where they least expected it, will they be brave enough to reach out and take it?

MCs physical appeal: 4.5 stars
Character development: 3 weak stars
Story development: 2 stars (mainly due to the stilted and unnecessary over-the-top drama)
Chemistry and sex scenes: 3 stars
Writing: 3 stars
Cover: 1 star for the tacky cover

I rounded up to three stars because without the bad cover, which is an irrelevant fact anyway, the book is a three-star rating.

The crux of the matter is that Try has been carried by the build-up and the thrill, the chemistry and anticipation that flared up between Tate and Logan. All this was fun in the first book. Now, however, the author needs something to carry the 'relationship'. It begs the question how you do that. That deep and meaningful pillar that could symbolize their tower of strength is not quite in sight yet, at least not to me. Logan and Tate depend too much on sexual encounters to 'strengthen' their bond. BTW, there was a lot of smexin' in this sequel.

Also, the added over-the-top drama doesn’t help in any way, shape or form to guarantee a story and character development. Vilifying not only the soon-to-be ex-wife but is clearly over the top. And, to be very honest, the ending was no surprise at all. After throughout the entire book, I did expect Of course it had to happen at the end of Take, with a very loud pop. Mission accomplished, right? It's the (allegedly) perfect basis for more upcoming drama in book #3. Fact is, Take has been taken in (no pun intended) by numerous scapegoats. Frankly, this kind of story 'development' is not my cup of tea. Just adding drama for the sake of drama doesn't appeal to me.

I've noticed a strange development. It's a disease that's spreading among authors and I'm calling it…

 photo oie_nRv3Rtky4qc9_zpsf6a22b80.gif

The overuse of italic is a total nuisance that borders on the ridiculous. Tone it down please. Just one little example among many, many others:

"Well, we're all very lucky to be seen with such a beautiful woman as yourself."
Rachel practically glowed as she giggled. "Ahh, flattery. It will get you everywhere."

The food fetish

Audi R8
 photo 4f5a8fa6-de50-428e-8fe8-fd3d04132b43_zpsd9f71973.png

My friend told me, "I can see you rolling your eyes right there. Lol"
Bingo! It's apparent that my friend knows me too well.

Back to being serious. I think the food fetish is getting stale. And if I have to choose between peaches, caramel and then it’s obvious what I’m going to choose. Peaches and caramel. The food thing has run its course, certainly the unappealing (non) mess in the car, IMO. Just a fleeting thought, I hope I will never have to read about strawberries coated with cum whenever I'll encounter the next sexualized food scene. Yuck.

After the big and very nasty drama we have a bit more drama at 55 %:

But then at 70 % Tate said:

Whatever.

At 78 %:

 photo oie_qJ8W4qxMJ8og_zps1cfdc767.gif

Cole winked at him…

Tate gave a silent wink,…

Never heard of a silent loud wink.

Logan grabbed his hand and winked. …

Logan winked. …
Again.

...up at him, and Logan winked. …
Again.

Logan commented with a wink. …
Again.

Tate winked down at her…

…he licked his lips and winked at him.

If that wasn't enough you can check out more winks in the book.

My favorite scene

With all due respect, an outstanding erotic romance book that is worthy of getting five stars from me provides not only hot smexin' but also a terrific story/plot, great characterizations and character development respectively. BTW, I found the sex better in Try, probably due to their great chemistry. Take didn't get five stars from me because it didn't fulfill my standards. And readers who are upset about my review should calm down. Three stars is not a bad rating at all.

In conclusion, it can be said that while this wasn't a bad read there wasn't enough character development and the story headed in a direction that didn't appeal to me. And, without the page-filling drama, Logan and Tate's story could have been wrapped up in two books.

RE-READ

4.5 Stars

I'm going to lower my rating a smidge after my re-read. While, I still loved this one hard I didn't love it as much as Try.

There's just something about the build-up to Logan and Tate becoming a couple. Logan's insistent pursuit of Tate. Tate's resistance to Logan.

It was delicious!!!

INITIAL READ

5--FanFUCKINGtastic--Stars!!

Was this book HAWT as hell??? Um....

Did I love it just as much, if not more than, Try?

Take picks up where Try left off....literally, like minutes later. I had no problem doing a re-read of all of those hot sex scenes to refresh myself of what was going on.

After Tate gets caught by his sister and his ex-wife kissing Logan, Tate is forced to confront his family with his newfound gay status. And he wants Logan by his side when he does it.

Poor Tate...my heart broke for his family's reaction to his coming out.

Diana, Diana, Diana.....

Ugh! I HATE you! Very passionately hate you!

This installment focused on Logan and Tate take-ing their relationship to the next level. Introducing themselves as a couple to their friends and family.

I devoured this installment of the Temptation series. I love everything about Logan and Tate. Their commitment to each other, despite their fears. Their love for each other, that they finally admit to each other. Their desire to be together, no matter who or what stands in their way.

Logan made Tate try....to give him a chance to show Tate what they could be like together.

“All he’d once dreamed of was right there within reach. All he had to do was reach out and take it.”

I am so happy that book 2 is this series didn't suffer from the sophomore slump. I could read about Tate and Logan forever....as long as they never, ever break up! :)

And for those of you that are worried, the ending was very similar to Try in that it was HFN. Logan and Tate are at a good place, but I am definitely left anticipating more!

4.5 Take What You Want Stars

So now it was his turn. His turn to convince Logan that he, Tate Morrison, was worth it. When he wanted something, he was stubborn enough to wait it out and take it.

Well fuck me sideways and consider me officially hooked. Wow. Ella Frank managed to do what no other author has accomplished for me before; she managed to make me love Take even more than Try. And I fucking LOVED Try. While I love me some delicious M/M loving, I do want a great story to go along with it. Take definitely offered more than Try in the back story and relationship development department. Typically when it comes to trilogies or series with the same couple, my ADD kicks in right around book 2 and I. Am. Done. But I can honestly tell you that not only will I be reading the next book, I am anticipating the FUCK out of it.

Take takes off immediately where Try left off. Logan and Tate are just starting to settle into being together, though both haven't touched that scary L word. Labels. After Tate's ex wife catches him in a passionate kiss with Logan, the cat is out of the bag and Tate has to face the music and come out to his parents. In the midst of doubts and fear, the driving force of the book continues to be the incredible passion that both these men share.
Lust and arousal were the driving forces in the room, but just under the surface was something much stronger- something he wasn't sure they were ready to acknowledge.
No one had ever made him feel as centered as Logan did, even when his world was spinning out of control.

Logan is one hell of a dirty mouthed distraction. Everything that I loved about him in book 1 was back in book 2. His dirty humor, inappropriate comments, and melt the panties right off of you sex appeal.

Logan may have been the one pursuing Tate before, but in this book it's Tate's turn to ultimately prove to Logan what he wants.

If I loved Tate before, I completely fell for him here. I appreciate that there was no OTT drama or unnecessary angst added here. It was what it was, and what it was was Tate growing more comfortable with the man that he is now. That's not to say that there wasn't any struggles. There definitely was that. Most of it in the form of his cunt of an ex wife. Now if I just may take a moment to vent here?

I have never wished for a character to killed off more than his ex wife. I swear I hated her more with every damn chapter. Forget ragey, I felt stabby. The things that she does and says?! That Cunty McCuntface!
Gah! I wanted to reach through my kindle and kick her in the ovaries.
Vent finished.

While this book definitely had more story than the first, it still delivered on the scorching sex scenes.

Usually I'd find myself getting bored with that many love scenes and eventually skimming (yes, the horror! I know. But it's been known to happen) But that was not the case here. Not even close. I couldn't get enough of these two together.

You will never, and I mean EVER, look at olive oil the same again. I don't think I'll be able to cook without getting turned on again.

I really loved how Tate really came into his own here and let his dirty side loose.
That's what you want, isn't it? Someone who won't always let you win? Someone that is more than happy to be sucked and fucked but will also return the favor? Mark my words fine has no business with what we're about to do."

If you're concerned about a cliffhanger, don't be. Take leaves off in a very satisfying place while making it obvious that there's still more ground to cover. I was very happy with how it ended. I'm not feeling a ragey cliffy episode while still anticipating the next book. If you're looking for a hot as fuck MM romance, you definitely need to meet the boys of Temptation.

Forth re-read: 13.08.2021
When I "accidentally" started re-reading book one, I had to re-read this one too. It's the rules after all.

“Logan?”
“Hmm?”
“Let me back in.”
Logan blinked him into focus and placed his hand on top of Tate’s. “I’m trying.”
Tate nodded. “Then I’ll wait.”
“For how long?”
Tate’s eyes softened and the smile that touched his lips was full of sincerity as he promised, “As long as it takes.”

Third re-read: 21.04.2021
While Logan can be a lot - especially in book one - he is the favorite in this book. Once he let someone in, he truly lets someone in. It's quite beautiful when you think about it. That said, there's too much sex, but compared to the first one where we pretty much only got sex, we at least got some depth with emotions and the feeling of them actually being in a relationship. This one is better than book one; it's not great, but still better.

Second re-read: 11.10.2020
There's too much sex in this series, even though sex is their way of communication. That said, I did find myself skimming some of the sex scenes. Also Logan is a bit different than from the first book. He's not weak per se, but he is more... vulnerable. I wish he was a bit more commanding and alpha male in this one. Anyway, I did like the book, probably the same as the last time, but also none of the characters annoyed me, so that's a good sign. On to the third one.

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*My opinion has clearly changed*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

Re-read: 23.04.2018
I'm a little bit surprised that I found myself re-read this book. I had re-read book one in a attempt to see if I had changed my mind regarding the series; the answer was no, I still didn't like it and left it at that. But months later I was suddenly re-read this one, and I'm pleasantly surprised that the book wasn't all that bad this time around. I liked the characters way more now than I did and I felt strangely more connected to them. Perhaps I've grown some more. I think I like the book now, which is so odd since I didn't like it all that much the first time around. But here I am.

“What would you have done if I’d said twenty-one?”
“I want to say that I’d have walked away—”
“Bullshit,” Tate cut in. “You can’t walk away from me any more than I can from you.”
As Tate realized what he’d just admitted, he shut his mouth. Then Logan’s voice surrounded him in his room that now felt empty.
“Tate?”
He swallowed and placed his palm on his chest, trying to calm the thumping. “Yes?”
“I didn’t even stop to think how old you were. I just had to have you. That should tell you everything.”

Overall, I like the plot and the character, though of course, this doesn't mean I love it. I don't, and it was far from it. I think I wish that Logan was closer to his brother. I don't feel the brotherhood that I wish they had. I also wish that someone from Tate's family would be supportive. I also find that there is actually too much sex (yes, I said that) and too little getting to know one another. I need Tate and Logan getting deeper with each other. Luckily, though the character didn't get as deep as I wanted with each other, I did feel like I got to know the character more. Specially Logan. Who I like the most in this book. Which is so odd since I barely tolerated him in the previous book.
New Rating: 3 stars

Logan wasn’t sure if they each meant the same thing, but as he withdrew his fingers from the snug fit of Tate’s body and moved up over him, he felt like he was finally where he was supposed to be.
The lock that had kept his heart firmly shut away had finally found its key.

Other characters:
Cole Madison, Logan's (half) brother and business partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. Rachel ‘Rach’, a pastry chef and Cole's wife.
Diana Cline, Tate’s ex-wife. A bitch.
Jill, Tate's sister. Another bitch; they are bitches together. Her husband, Sam.
Mason ‘Mase’ Langley, Rachel’s brother and runs the restaurant Exquisite downtown, which he and Rachel owns. Has a little girl named Catherine. His wife Lena, a pediatrician.
Joshua ‘Josh’ Daniels, a client and friend of Cole’s. Has a daughter named Savannah. He owns Creative Construction & Remodeling Company (I think). His wife Shelly, a pulmonologist.
Robbie, a complete flirt. Works at The Daily Grind as a barista.
Christopher ‘Chris’ Walker, Logan's ex and a abusive (with words), manipulative bastard. Owns half of the biggest architecture firm in Chicago.

“No. I’m done pretending I don’t understand what’s going on here. It’s crazy and intense, but Logan, it’s real. Every time I’m near you, I feel alive.” He closed his eyes and whispered, “What they did and what they said...that’s their choice, and you are mine.”

First read review:
Another damn cliffhanger. Seriously? Man, cliffhangers are the fucking worst. Logan Mitchell (34), the lawyer, and William Tate Morrison (29), the bartender at After Hours, is back; stronger and getting more sure of their relationship. Getting to know each other on a more personal level and becoming more. Though, as in the first book, there wasn't much of a story here. It was a bit boring, predictable, yet it still had its moments that got me smiling.
“Agreed. Do I get to add to this rule book?”
“Depends if I like the rule or not. Plus, you added one yesterday. I think that’s enough out of you. Best to leave it to the professionals.”
“What?” Tate scoffed and pulled away. “That’s not fair.”
They both started walking again, and Logan said, “Don’t care.”
“Is that how you win in court? Someone presents evidence you don’t like and you shrug and say, ‘I don’t care, Your Honor.’”
Tate saw Logan shake his head. Then he turned to look at him.
“No. I win because I’m the best.”
“And modest too,” Tate added tongue-in-cheek.
“No time for modesty when you’re out to win.”
“Ahh, and you’re always out to win.”
“Well, who wants to lose?”

The table turned in this book: in first book, my favorite of the couple was Tate, however, Logan beat him this time around. Logan was more open, more serious and just more. Tate was... Tate. Not much changed, except his feelings getting stronger. There's something missing between them, between their relationship, that is hanging there and annoying me. I can't quite put my finger to it, but it's there. Perhaps it is the fact that their relationship is based mostly on sex and not something... deeper. I think. Overall I'm pissed the book ended in a cliffhanger, which means I need to continue... Damn.
“You and nuts,” he mused. “In your coffee, on your ice cream…” He leaned in and added, “In your mouth.”

Ella Frank-

I can't even..this book was amazing!

Take is the second installment in the Temptation Series by Ella Frank. In this follow up, the story pick ups right where the first book ends. The first book was about the beginning of a relationship- or I should say "the chase" or going after someone you're interested in. Here,we are in the second stage. Feelings and emotions are now involved. Logan and Tate must now deal with the opinions of others regarding their new romance. We are also given answers to questions we've had. Just like in the first book- the chemistry between these characters is palpable.

 photo 5546759_zpschmcjtcu.gif

I also want to say this book is everything and more of what you from an Ella Frank. Ella Frank is synonymous with sexual and emotional tension, and she managed to deliver both in a perfect balance in this story. I found myself wanting to devour this book but forcing myself to slow down so that I wouldn't finish. This book will arouse you, make you laugh, cry, angry, and make you think. As for those wondering if it ends in a cliffy...hmm, if you really want to know: This was a 5++ Star read and can not wait for book 3!

** 5++ “pure f*cking temptation” STARS **

"What are you trying to do, KILL ME?"

"No. I'm making you MINE."

"Don't you know? I'm already YOURS."

*sigh*

It's been 2 days since I've finished this book. I've tried to start reading something else, but you know what happened? I kept finding myself zoned out, thinking about Logan and Tate, which led me to close whatever book I've been currently reading and open up Try to read my favorite scenes over and over again. You see, I am obviously obsessed with Tate and Logan's story and I know for sure that those of you that know about them would understand why. Those of you that still haven't met them...well, what the hell are you waiting for bitches?!

To Logan,

Because around you, all I want to do is fall without thought.

Tate

Tate can feel the things between him and Logan dramatically changing. The fierce attraction he is feeling towards Logan is transforming into something much deeper and much scarier. He’s never been as strongly attracted to anyone, man or woman, before, which scares the sh*t out of him. He craves the intimate connection he shares with Logan and to be even MORE to him. But…now that his family knows about his new…boyfriend…explaining about the way this man makes him feel and who he is to Tate, is making him nervous and nauseated. What will his Catholic mother and father think of their good son now? What will they think of Logan? What if they say something to upset Logan and make him question the thing that’s fastly building between them? Is it even…worth it to go through all of this sh*tstorm for Logan, when there’s a very real possibility of him bailing on Tate when the time comes, anyway?

“You make me CRAZY and FURIOUS and out of my mind with NEED, but in the end, you make me so f*cking HAPPY. I can’t ever remember feeling this way. And no one is going to tell me it’s wrong. NO ONE.
~ TATE

Logan can feel the things between him and Tate dramatically changing. He doesn't know when it happened, but this man has seeped through the cracks on his heart and has taken residence there…maybe even forever. Making a commitment and taking the risk to really depend on someone is terrifying for Logan already, but now that Tate’s family is involved…things are harder than ever. Did he really corrupt Tate? Did he force him into this…relationship? Should he give Tate permission to walk away from him whenever he needs to? Is it even…worth it to bleed through his old wounds and try committing to this man, when there’s a very real possibility of him changing his mind about all of this, anyway?

“You might have done the chasing in the beginning, but Logan…”

“Yeah?”

“I’ve never been happier than when you CAUGHT ME.

Tate and Logan both feel they are right where they’re supposed to be. They can both feel the "power to hurt" the man standing in front of them has in his hands and wonder if they themselves have the same... With Logan’s insecurities and trust issues, and Tate’s doubts and the sting of his family’s rejection lingering around and threatening them of breaking them apart…will they be able to hold onto the precious connection they possess? Because all they have ever dreamed of is right there within reach and all they have to do is reach out and TAKE IT!

HOLY HOTNESS, the sex scenes in this book were passionate and raw and so damn perfect!!!! Logan was always “hungry” and Tate was more than happy to accommodate... ;) You just have to trust me when I say your ovaries will most likely not survive this read. I know mine couldn't...

“You only have to do one thing.” Logan told him as he continued moving the hand burrowed between Tate's legs. “I'm going to suck you and f*ck you until you come. Your only job? Don't make a mess in my car. Keep it right here, in my mouth. Got it?”
~ LOGAN

Quick P.S: I realized I prefer it when Logan bottoms, which made me wonder what other people felt about this. I'd love to hear your thoughts! ;)

Lastly, Diana and Tate's mother... THOSE GODDAMN C*NTS... I wish the worst for them both!

Now we wait for Book#3 for f*ck knows how long...

Back for another go-around with Logan and Tate, and if it’s possible, I’m even more crazy about these two than I was the first time! 🥰🤌🤗

Still as steamy as ever, this sequel to Try brings whole new levels of character depth and relationship growth to Logan and Tate, and I couldn’t be more satisfied as a fangirl reader!

Here, these deliciously charming and engaging men admit some hard truths about themselves, their whirlwind relationship, and what they want from the future, learning to open themselves up to one another and learning to trust (and love) on a level that's wholly new to both of them.

Everything Logan and Tate are feeling and all of the obstacles they are facing from outside parties definitely makes for some emotional reading and, I’ll admit, I was riveted. Where the first book was mostly about the chase, this book is about finding acceptance and love, as individuals and as newly committed partners.

I relish in the fact that both men are terrified by the weight of what they feel and what it all means, yet they still dive in unreservedly and give of themselves so freely and passionately—it’s truly commendable. I honestly find the whole thing wildly romantic and, as always, hot as the fieriest pockets of hell!

With the exception of how ragey I get over the way Tate's family react to his being with another man—crazy bigoted A-holes—I love everything about this book and can't imagine there will ever be a time where this series won't be an enjoyable favourite of mine.

Read #4: July, 2023

This book STILL DELIVERS!!! I love, love, love Logan’s vulnerability in this sequel and I adore how Tate gives himself over to his feelings for Logan in a whole new way.

The cabin scenes, with the deep, important conversations, are some of my favourites in the entire series. And that shower scene? Hot damn! What a visual!

I can’t wait to be an old lady, probably without my senses and probably definitely without my teeth, still reading this series and drooling over its characters. I’m committed for the long-haul, people! 😂🙌

While I really liked Try, I simply loved Take! While Try was mainly about lust, here, we have both lust and feelings. And what a great combination that is. The book is still hot, like melt my panties or rip my clothes off hot. Logan and Tate are one helluva sexy couple and they can play around the sheets all right.

But in addition to all the messing around, we have an actual relationship between those two. And let me tell you, they are so wonderful together. You can feel the connection, the devotion, the love.

Logan tries to get used to being in a relationship, since it's not his "thing", while Tate is discovering his sexuality. They work hard to make their realationship work, in spite of all the difficulties they have to go through (especially with Tate's family and ex-wife). My heart really broke for Tate, when he had to deal with his family's reaction. And I won't even start with his ex-wife Diana....she just made me want to scream DIE BITCH! But despite all the drama, I loved that they stayed strong together and they supported each other no matter what.

They. Were. Perfect. Together.

This series is amazing so far and I can't wait to read more about Logan and Tate. I would recommend it especially to everyone who still hasn't popped that MM cherry, cause it is absolutely the best choice to start the journey with MM reading.

5+++++ Sexy Love me some Logan stars

 photo 3D1417B0-8D80-4253-8E08-FAD8DE5E5DC6_zpsauxrnh1v.jpg

I can't tell you how much I LOVED this book, no LOVE these BOYS. There's something unique and special about them that just grabs your attention from get go. There's also a lot of good reviews out for this already so I'm just going to explain some of my thoughts with you. I don't know why its taken me so long to pick this one up probably because I was scared of it leaving me on a cliff-hanger but this one didn't it left me with a HFN feeling and a BIG smile on my face for what's to come TRUST is on its way too so NOW would be a good time to grab it if you haven't already.

A small recap
In Try Logan temped straight Tate to delve into the M/M world, to have a night with him to TRY HIM and there was something so 'alluring' and sexy about Logan that Tate couldn't say No he tried and then soon got addicted to him, he couldn't say NO No-longer and kept saying YES, but with Tate coming from a good ole Catholic family and a man who's also going through a sticky divorce that left Try with questions on how Tate would deal with the questions in his head is he gay? is he bi? Those questions I suppose in some respects kept on in Take but Take takes you on a much deeper emotional ride where I was hooked and enjoyed the journey of more. I liked Try I gave it 4 stars you can read my Review of Try here ~
http://bit.ly/1HvPhDA. Try was sexy and all kinds of naughty so I that gave me my smut tastes a lick but TAKE was sooo much more I LOVED it in every way possible.

 photo 44588B9A-4799-454F-ADED-66899295756D_zps4ne4twdb.jpg

TAKE
Logan ahhh what a beautiful sexy classy man from the outside he seems goal orientated, STRONG and somewhat head strong, he is the BEST at his job and always gets what he wants and he WINS in the courtroom. Except with Tate he feels a little unsettled that the one person who he is starting to depend on could walk away any moment.

"All he'd once dreamed of was right there within reach. All he had to do was reach out and take it."

Logan I suppose seems to be that strong doesn't give a shit kind of feel in Try but here in Take I completely fell for him hook, line and sinker because he is holding his emotions close to his sleeve he's scared of getting hurt he's scared of being treated like the outside man basically above all he just wants to be loved and he wants TATE to be the one to do that. Saying all that he does nothing but be there to support and love Tate, here in Take he really does take all and strive to move forward with what he wants.

 photo C0927C39-A28B-4B49-A70D-7C5BC8C48457_zpst7zztgw1.jpg

What I loved about this instalment was their fierce love for each other that just grabs a hold of you, you just can't walk away from it, its so much more deeper and in that it also scares the shit out of Logan. But also Tate and what this means for him as a person and who he is, also what it means for THEM? because he has NEVER felt the longing and pure not only LUST but love he feels towards Logan this whole situation that they both are in is so very scary. Except that's the kind of love we all want right? The scariest of emotions are the ones worth fighting for.

"I didn't even stop to think how old you were, I just had to have you. That should tell you everything."

"As he drifted off to sleep, Tate felt for the very first time that h was exactly where he was supposed to be, and he didn't cared what anyone else thought."

The guy had him a second away from confessing his very soul there in the fucking hallway. "I swear you make me lose my mind. I feel like I'm going crazy." "Logan.?" He put his mouth to Tate's ear. "yes?" "I fucking love that."

"stop what exactly? Touching? Talking? Or inviting you to have me any way you like, anywhere you like? Because all you have to say are the words and I'm yours."

Logan has insecurities because of his past and the people who have hurt him, made him feel inferior. He has some secrets that only Cole knows about, and Cole (his brother) doesn't know the whole story either. I'm going to leave you to enjoy the rest concerning that tidbit of information just understand it takes a lot to let someone into his heart.

And then we have Tate. Tate is uneasy concerning his family and ex-to-be-wife who are very un supportive in my eyes if there ever were a family I didn't like it would be these I mean HOW DARE THEY treat him with so much disrespect and not love him unconditionally is beyond me, saying that in turn this is Tate's chance to make Logan his home and to Let Logan in. This is Tate's opportunity to show Logan how worthy he is off Logan's love and to put LOGAN first.

My Final Thoughts
I can't tell you how much I loved every word, I FELT every emotion, enjoyed the plot and how the pages took me in till I finished. I actually finished this Monday its now Thursday and I'm still thinking about L&T and all the yummyness that surrounds them both. This book is all kinds of sexy you take out the bitchy women and your left with two very strong Alpha Males in their own right, as individual and put them together you get a whole lot of fireworks and Chemistry. There's a lot of sex as expected but honestly in this one there was never too much it never dragged, I never skimmed I wanted more and when the next scene appeared I was at the edge of my seat loving the feelings of joy I was experiencing by living it with them 'together' and the power they both held in who was the Alpha at that moment.

Overall this was a joy to read and I can't wait for Trust.

♥♥♥ 4.25 HAWT Stars ♥♥♥

● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

'With this man, he wanted it all.
All he'd once dreamed of was right there within reach. All he had to do was reach out and take it.'

● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

I really loved Try and both Logan and Tate, so I could NOT wait to read this one. I was glad to say this one was just as hot as the first, if not more.

This is the second book of the Temptation Series and it starts off right where the last book ended. If you haven't read the first book, stop reading this review!! Okay, if you stuck around it's because you have. So, Logan and Tate are that point where they must decide if they both want the same thing, more from each other in the form of a true open relationship.

I LOVED the fact that I seemed to fall even more in love with these two characters. Logan was his dirty mouthed sexy self, but I loved seeing this other side of him that was more vulnerable. I loved seeing him have his guard down around Tate and giving in to his emotions.

● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

"You make me crazy and furious and out of my mind with need, but in the end, you make me so fucking happy. I can't ever remember feeling this way. And no on is going to tell me it's wrong. No one."

● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

And Tate, he was just as amazing. I loved seeing him become a little more alpha at certain times. I loved that he stood up for himself when he needed too, and the way he could be both dirty and sweet. Oh, how I hurt for him, but he was so strong, and I am so glad that he has Logan by his side.

This series as you know is an erotic series, so of course there is going to be an abundance of sex. And I'm glad to say that in that aspect this book did not fail at all. In fact, it was off the charts scorching!! The throws-panty-across-the-room-and-takes-cold-shower kind of hot!! I loved every single scene but a few did stand out that I ended up loving more.

● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

"I'm done pretending I don't understand what's going on here. It's crazy and intense, but Logan, it's real. Every time I'm near you, I feel alive."

● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ●

I will admit, though, there were a few times that this dragged on a bit for me. I just wanted them to tell each other sooner how they felt, and how they were going to deal with Tate's family and ex wife. So, that is why the first part was a tad bit slow, but the steam did hold my interest enough for me to get to second part. The second part is where everything I wanted to happen happens. I really enjoyed the drama that occurs. Like I said before, I hurt deeply for Tate and how his family treated him. I especially disliked his ex wife.

The very end, not going to lie, I kind of had and inclination that was going to happen so I wasn't surprised by it. Still, I am eager to continue with the series and see how Tate and Logan's story concludes. While I enjoyed the steam, I did wish we would have gotten a bit more story from the start. And don't worry, there is no relationship cliffhanger. Overall, a smoking hot read. I can't wait to read the next!

I hope you remember what happened in Try? ☺ If not - read it again!!!! ☺

description

Logan and Tate were finally together - but they still didn't have a name for whatever they were to each other... Both never had a boyfriend before - Logan, because he only had flings and Tate, well, because he has always only been attracted to women before....

But now they're starting something serious - and serious means meeting each others families and friends...

Which in Logan's case is no problem at all - they all immediately fall in love with Tate.

But Tate's family won't be as easy. They hated it when he divorced their beloved daughter-in-law Diana and now he's dating a guy??? NO WAY!

That's basically what happens in TAKE.

Logan and Tate trying to deal with everything that comes up when you're in a brand new relationship with a guy. Decisions. Family issues. Trust issues. Fear of/for the future etc.

description

There will be lots of VERY SEXY Scenes ☺☺☺

description

...sad and moving and frustrating scenes ...

description

...and lots of talking and being mad/sad/frustrated at each other....

WiLL THE TWO OF THEM GET THEIR HEA???
WiLL THERE BE A CLiFFHANGER???

description

NOPE..... I'm not telling you ☺

description

I don't want to spoil anything!!!

(OK, there will be a third book - so there's no HEA yet - and Cliffhanger? Yeah, kinda :( It's not that someone is literally hanging from a cliff - but book #2 kind of ends mid-conversation ☺)
________________________________

♥ I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK! ♥

Ugh - we had to wait soooo long to finally read about Tate & Logan again!!

I MISSED THEM SOO MUCH!!!

description

It took me 3 days to read it - I could've read it in one night, but I wanted to make it last longer!!!!!

description

Logan & Tate's story is sooo amazing! So romantic and adorable and sweet and frustrating and heartbreaking and moving and sad and most importantly

☺ EFFING EROTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

description

Phew!!! I still need hourly ice-creams to keep my body temp down!!!☺☺☺

description

Just like book 1 - book 2 does not disappoint.

In book 1 we had this funny side of Logan trying to get into Tate's pants...that's a bit missing here - there are funny moments, but it's more about finding their way, now that they're a couple. And facing all the problems that come up when you're suddenly gay....

Ugh, I hated Tate's family!!! No sympathy at all for them!

I kinda thought people these days were more open for anything gay! But Tate's mom probably didn't get the memo! So sad!

Well - if you loved book 1 - like I know you did - you will definitely love this second one too.

TAKE: Book #2 in the most perfect m/m Romance Trilogy ever! You think you know what Erotic Romances are because you've read Fifty Shades of Grey? Think again!

P.S. - no offense FSOG - I still love you Christian!!!! ☺

now please hurry with book #3 Ms Frank!!!!

Reread March 2020

Oh how I still love these two. They are hotter than hell!🔥

Reread September 2017

I'm still in love with these guys so much. I love seeing them come together as a couple and work on their relationship and they're so supportive of each other. And, I still despise Tate's family. This quote stood out to me this time:
"The complete and utter lack of tolerance from his parents had shown him one very important thing—love was not something that was simply there because you were born of the same blood, and it should never come with a fucking disclaimer."
A-freaking-men!

Originally read August 2016

I absolutely adore these two and man!..Can they burn up some pages...but I have to say, I HATE Tate's family and it makes me sad to think there are actually people in this world like that.

Moving on to book 3...these two DESERVE a HEA and I can't wait to see it.

A steamy sequel with a lot of heart...
“A challenge. I do love a good challenge.”
“Yes, I know,” Tate answered. “I found out the hard way.”
Logan laughed at that. “There is so much that could be said right now, but yes, Tate, you were my hardest challenge yet.”
I was ridiculously excited for this release... The first book, Try, was a five-star read for me (You can read my review here). So I counted down the months, weeks, days, and hours until Take finally went live... I even re-read the first book to make sure my memory was fresh!
1 - Do you know how often I get to re-read a book? Never!
2 - Was Try as fantastic the second time? Fuck yes!

It was with a heathy amount of trepidation that I snuggled up with my Kindle App to read this book... The sophomore release in any series is a make-it-or-break-it moment: It can make the reader remember why they fell in love with book one, or it can completely break their confidence in an author... Lucky for everyone, Ella Frank is amazing and she certainly delivered with this book!

Take picks up right where Try left off...
- Tate must face is family in the wake of his accidental outing.
- Logan reveals the whole truth behind his disastrous relationship with the infamous Chris.
- Their relationship is becoming stronger and more intimate.
- The angst is palpable in this installment, as the Logan & Tate begin to face outside opposition in addition to battling their own demons...

The humor was still there in leaps and bounds... As was the dirty talk, and the "Holy-Fuck-Don't-Try-To-Read-This-In-Public" sexytimes which we've come to expect from this explosive pair...

The HEAT was scorching between Logan and Tate - ShamWow should really make a line of women's underwear to hand out with this book. (Thank you to The Smut Book Club for the hypothetical invention of ShamWow Panties)

LOGAN MITCHELL
Yes, I love him. Recklessly and without caution.
He was all in, and he wanted Tate more than his next breath.
Logan was determined to have Tate from the moment he met him. He believes that Tate is worth risking his closely-guarded heart in order to build their relationship... But is Tate ready for everything that entails?

TATE MORRISON
“You make me crazy and furious and out of my mind with need, but in the end, you make me so fucking happy. I can’t ever remember feeling this way. And no one is going to tell me it’s wrong. No one.”
There's no more hiding for Tate. This formerly straight man has just been outed in a very public, very soul-crushing way. Before it's all over, Tate is going to find himself forced to make some hard decisions about what's really important to him...

Overall, I was impressed and delighted with this book. Logan & Tate had a place in my naughty thoughts after I read Try, and now they have a place in my heart as well... I should mention that there is a third book planned for this series... So I suppose I shall begin my countdown again and patiently await its release...

In addition, fans of the Exquisite Series will be thrilled to know the new couple mixes it up with Lena, Mason, Shelly, Joshua, Rachel, & Cole...

Some of My Favorite moments:

If you want to give this book a TRY (Ha! See what I did there?) the first Chapter of Take can be read on Ella Frank's Blog! How sweet is that? I love when an author does things like that for their fans!

***5 Satisfying Stars***

That pretty much sums it up for me! I loved this book so hard that when I was done, I could have easily went to the beginning and started all over again.

A phenomenal continuation of Tate and Logan's story. It was hot. It was a little angsty. It was sweet. It was everything you want in a follow up book....character development, the plot evolving and being fully engaged the whole time! IT. WAS. PERFECT.

My advice...

What a ride! Hot damn!

Me, when I started reading this book:
description

When I finished:
description

Ella's second installment in this series far surpassed any expectations I had. I loved every damn word of it, and I could barely put it down. I actually had to stop reading just when I reached the scene. You know...the one depicted on the freakin' cover. I thought I would go nuts when I had to step away from the book.
description
It was just sooooooo good.
Ms. Frank, you definitely deserve all the stars!
description

Ella certainly put our boys through the wringer in this one. Not only did both Logan and Tate have to overcome their various fears and realize that they both wanted the same thing (a lasting relationship), but they also had to deal with annoying, hateful, and despicable outside forces. Seriously, to Tate's bigoted family and shrew-of-an-ex-wife,
description
It just broke my heart to see what Tate's so-called family put him through once they found out he was dating a man. Better watch out. I'm coming for you, assholes!
description

Yes, having all these outside hostile forces did cause Logan and Tate to stumble a little, caused some hurts and arguments, but, after all was said and done, it only made them more certain in their convictions - that they belong together.
description
No one had ever made him feel as centered as Logan did, even when his world was spinning out of control.
Logan didn't judge him, didn't expect something he couldn't give.
[...]Logan wanted him, and if this was his fall into corruption, then he planned on making one hell of an impact.
"I was going to live for me," he announced. "For what makes me happy. And you make me happy, Logan."
Logan exhaled as Tate pinned him with serious eyes.
"You make me crazy and furious and out of my mind with need, but in the end, you make me so fucking happy. I can't ever remember feeling this way. And no one is going to tell me it's wrong. No one."
description
It was so satisfying to see both let go of their fears and apprehensions and realize that all they need to be fulfilled is each other. I absolutely loved seeing Logan and Tate move from two people who are just developing strong feelings for one another in Try to a full-fledged couple in Take.
description

Oh, and as for the smex???
description
description

This book can definitely, definitely be labelled as a one-handed read.
description
Remember how I said that Ms. Frank exceeded my expectations? Weeeeeeeeeeeellll, she made these boys even hotter than before.

Let's see (just to name a few):
There was the shower scene,
description
and the car scene,
description
and the club scene.

5++ STARS

Devoured this! Can't get enough of this couple, OMG!!! This was still beyond hot with the sex between these guys. And there was A LOT of it.

I also loved the emotional side of this read with both Logan and Tate digging deep, facing their fears, being vulnerable and real with each other. Hot damn!!

Can't wait for the conclusion of this hot series.

And thank you Maida for bingeing on this together!! xo

Tate & Logan's journey continues in Take, the second installment of the Temptations Series by Ella Frank. As Tate deals with not only discovering that he's attracted to Logan he has to deal with exposing this new self to his family. Already caught in a moment of intimacy, Tate knows he can't put this off any longer.

But Tate isn't the only one that is feeling more exposed by this new relationship. For Logan Mitchell, he's always hidden his heart behind a wall of casual sex with any man or woman he wanted. But for the first time since College, Logan is wanting this to be something more. He is falling hard for the straight man that he has in his bed.

Screenshot_6

As these two venture through their issues while building onto their relationship, Logan wants to be public with his feelings. He's already been the dirty little secret and he isn't sure he could take it if Tate pulled away from him again in public. These two have learned to try, well okay - Logan pushed and Tate gave in... but now it's time for them to both realize what it is that they want and take it.

Screenshot_5

So not too long ago I ventured into a new genre, in the trusted hands of an author that I simply adore. Try was hands down one of my favorite reads and now having read Take, I can say this series just got better & hotter. I felt like the sex was turned up a few notches hotter than before. Without the need of the building tension of them finally going at it, we got to see them in the throws of passion with a bit of more comfort in the acts taking place. Tate was growing in his newly discovered attraction and Logan was like a kid at Christmas when it came to Tate's body.

Screenshot_8

We have new drama introduced as we get to the end, but I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger... more like a bomb that is about to detonate. What I think I have fallen in love with most about this series is that these two characters have come to complete life in these pages. I remember when I read Edible and first met Logan. My initial reaction to that cocky smart mouth was explosive. I wanted that man to have his own book. I needed to know that man's story. I've loved all of the characters that Ella has created, but Logan just captured my attention in an instant and never let go. He is that man with the confidence, cockiness and the vulnerability that lies just beneath the surface. The one that can cause your panties to melt with a look or your heart to break with a secret admission. And let me tell you, he made this woman cry (among other things).

Screenshot_9

I leave the experience of reading this book with a new fondness for olive oil and more love for these two characters. Another fantastic book from Ella Frank. I just don't know if this author is capable of not hitting it out of the park each and every time.

"Get in the car and unzip your jeans. I'm fucking hungry."

"You only have to do one thing." Logan told him as he continued moving the hand burrowed between Tate's legs. "I'm going to suck you and fuck you until you come. Your only job? Don't make a mess in my car. Keep it right here, in my mouth. Got it?"

I’m not going to lie, one of the top three reasons I decided to read Take was because of all the HOT SEX I knew I’d get from reading about Logan and Tate. And ladies there was nothing lacking in that area at all!! Seriously, I was in constant arousal mode and I think I am getting to old for this stuff! LOL

 photo bbc9aeac-aa33-4588-b7ba-e023fea83e6d_zps9ed77235.jpg

The other two reasons were I wanted to know how they would weather the shit storm that I knew was coming and whether Tate was just testing the waters or was his life about to change forever.

Take picks up immediately where Try left off. Logan and Tate’s relationship is thrust into an unfamiliar territory for Tate more so than Logan but both of them quickly find themselves dealing with the good, the bad and the indifference that surrounds them.

Logan puts forth strength and confidence when it comes to what he wants. And what he wants is Tate. Tate is not just a conquest for him. Watching how fiercely protective Logan becomes of Tate was something else. It’s these intense feelings that leave him exposed.

Just about everything within Tate is raging. The intense feelings he has for Logan, his feelings towards his family and the uncertainly of what his future holds. He needs everything to just settle.

 photo 17147a56-729d-4a37-b7d4-66aadac33aba_zps19871bb3.jpg

The relationship that is building between Logan and Tate begins to shift away from the all consuming sex and desire they have for each other to simply wanting and needing to be together. As Tate continues to explore his own sexuality Logan is there for him every step of the way but there are some things that happen to Tate that Logan has no control over. And Logan finds himself uncertain about whats about to happen.

 photo 6ebb1f54-6baf-411f-8ca4-3815cd179700_zps52f6bcb1.jpg

Take was such an amazing extension of the Temptation Series. In Tate and Logan’s relationship you are taken through the stage of IGNORANCE and ACCEPTANCE. Both stages are equally challenging. The plot is stronger and more balanced. It’s not all about the sex in this one (although it pretty freaking hot) there was so much more to it. And the ending was something I sort of anticipated and it was perfect. I find myself looking forward to book 3.

Now I cannot end this review without this sentiment.

3.3 Stars - Sweaty intense erotica and unforgettable charming sexy characters. - 11 hours audio heat. - Whew!

Book #2

Ella Frank's first M/M romance in her Temptation Series started with #1 -Try (4.3). A very "hyped" book a year ago which was a funny joy to read now in May.
Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Yearning for more I started this second part in July but had a (summer, vacation, traveling etc..) break after reading just a fourth of it. A break that went on quite a long time. Luckily, happened a kind of miracle for me: Take-audiobook was now there to be downloaded. I started it all over again a week ago.

***********************************************

Who can resist two boys like Logan & Tate?
Adorable interesting men. A lot of kinky bed talk and hot smex in every place you can imagine. — A needy charming Logan Mitchell 'hunting' for a beautiful MC owner and bartender. — A nice straight Tate Morrison who just divorced his wife and ever never kissed a man.
‘The lock that had kept his heart firmly shut away had finally found its key.’

To be fair, these two are gorgeous unforgettable, yummy sexy, manly, very horny characters. You can't but like them. ~ Their charm are irresistible and book #1 -Try ended in a nice HFN. ~ The first book was a "good one", a kind of hit for me.

***********************************************

But, but, but... **sigh!**
...that good feeling dissapered here in Take.
Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

“You and nuts,” he mused. “In your coffee, on your ice cream…”
He leaned in and added, “In your mouth.”

Take - A second book about the weeks after.
That terrible Sunday when Tate tells his family that he is in love with a man. The spinning spiral turns faster and faster and these boys have sex. A lot of sex, high and low, and all the time.

Imagine two horny rabbits who snorts, takes hard and harder, get the best ever pleasure over and over, asking for more and more and more. ~ Whew!! ~ Yes, my cheeks are still red.

***********************************************

Nine audiobook hours narrated by a dark male voice from Shannon Gunn. ~ Not bad but not great in all parts. I felt he overdid and made a big intense drama of way too many scenes. It was too much in the end.

***********************************************

I'm not sure but maybe is an, without doubt, erotica romance, like Take, way to "much" of everything for this lady.

It's not kinky. It is mostly just naughty hot but still 'vanilla' sweet, but never the less, just more than I needed to "get it". (Yeah, I got it. They love to cuddle.). ~ In the end couldn't I keep listening to all of it any longer. I skipped some parts and that is not my style. I usually read or listen to every single word.

Approximately 75% sex and just 25% story plot.
I liked (loved) that sex-free story quater and I still feel a lot interest for Logan and Tate. Their love story is good and I guess I'll go for next book as well. ~ Take ended in a way —not bad', we have sight on a grand HEA— but some things are there to solve first.

I feel that this author has the ability to write great romances. ~ In Try and Take we get diverse characters, both tender and witty dialogues, heartbreakingly romantic situations and all in all a very emotional story. It's a pity that she made too much eroticism of this M/M series.

My ears were worn out by too much moaning and hot male erotic screams.

...Here we have a good basic story plot that could have been so much better stripped of half of all hot sex parts, and published in one book instead. Then, it had been a tribute review from me. Another book, yeah I know, but so much better.

I LIKE - yes in parts...

So they had a chance to TRY but will they TAKE a risk...

"...Around you, all I want to do is fall without thought".

Tate

Temptation...

“A challenge. I do love a good challenge.”
“Yes, I know,” Tate answered. “I found out the hard way.”
Logan laughed at that. “There is so much that could be said right now, but yes, Tate, you were my hardest challenge yet.”

I loved this book in a guilty pleasure kind a way... It wasn't perfect but it was so damn enjoyable.

The second instalment picks up almost immediately where Try left off. I was glad to see Tate and Logan immediately have to face the real life and it was an interesting ride. Lots of issues, some angst, ex-wife, Tate's family was awful, Logan very supportive and I thought they dealt with everything reasonably well.

Tate and Logan managed took their relationship to another level which was fantastic. And the sex scenes where scorching and plentiful and enjoyable.
"Stop what exactly? Touching? Talking? Or inviting you to have me any way you like, anywhere you like? Because all you have to say are the words and I’m yours."

Overall this book had more depth than the first one, but I would've liked more character development.

I think if you loved book#1 you will definitely love book#2

I have enjoyed and hoping for even better book #3 soon

-He'd never been as strongly attracted to anyone as he was to the man currently eyeing him.

-Logan wanted him, and if this was his fall into corruption, then he planned on making one hell of an impact.

-Logan would be his, and he wasn't going anywhere until he had him.

-"You might have done the chasing in the beginning, but Logan..." "Yeah?" "I've never been happier than when you caught me."

In the beginning of book 2 Logan & Tate are together but not putting labels or defining their relationship. The cocky, confident, arrogant, charming, sexy as hell Logan finally has what he has desired...Tate Morrison. Logan doesn't do commitments since he was hurt in the past, but he finds himself feeling so much for Tate, & it scares him to death. He feels vulnerable, and is afraid of rejection, but is finally ready for more.

-"What are you trying to do, kill me?"

-"No. I'm making you mine."

-"Don't you know? I'm already yours."

As Logan finally takes a chance on letting someone into his heart, Tate also realizes he wants a life & future with Logan. Tate wants something real & craves that intimate connection. They share a passion like no other & become addicted to one another. They build a trust & love that is beautiful & I can't wait to see how their relationship continues to grow in book three! :D

-Yes, I love him. Recklessly and without caution. He was all in, and he wanted Tate more than his next breath.

-"You make me crazy and furious and out of my mind with need, but in the end, you make me so fucking happy. I can't ever remember feeling this way. And no one is going to tell me it's wrong. No one."

RATING: 5++ Sexy AF Hearts!! <3 :D

Take is hands down my favourite book in this series. I absolutely adore Logan and Tate - their banter, their sexual chemistry and their devotion for each other is beyond beautiful and exciting. While I loved the first book, I really loved this one, and am so proud of my boys (yes I'm claiming them as mine!) for finally accepting and claiming their happiness and facing their fears. A perfect combination of sweet, sexy and emotional!

Cannot wait for the conclusion of this fun and hot series!

Fave Quotes:

"You might have done the chasing in the beginning, but Logan..."
"Yeah?"
"I've never been happier than when you caught me."

"Because around you, all I want to do is fall without thought."

No one."

He wanted everyone to know-Logan was his.

I'm confused because the woman I grew up with, my mother, taught me to love everyone."...
"I guess she meant everyone like her."

"There's a hint of sweet with a full helping of stubborn and dirty as fuck...In other words, just right."

"What are you trying to do, kill me?"
"No. I'm making you mine."
"Don't you know? I'm already yours."

I love him. Recklessly and without caution.

And thank you to Suzanne for gushing over Logan and Tate with me! :D <3 xoxoxo

Loved this one just as much as the first! ❤

This one picked up right where the last one ended and there is a lot going on. Logan is facing his fears of being in a relationship and Tate is finding his way through the new desires he is having for a man. Well, one pacific man. Both are determined to make this work and they go through many highs and lows in this one before things finally become settled between them.

Tate's family plays a big role in this one. The confrontation was brutal and sad. It devastated Tate and put a riff in his and Logan's relationship.

Things are a bit strained between Logan and Tate for a while. Tate asks Logan to leave and that he needs some space and Logan doesn't really like that idea.

"Leave? Of course, just leave. Fuck me for being this stupid," And fuck you for making me fall in love with you."

Logan is a mess. He has never been so insecure about anything. But Tate makes him vulnerable and a vulnerable Logan is an angry Logan. He doesn't like feeling unsure about where he stands with Tate and he especially doesn't like the silence of his phone with no calls or messages from the man. But Tate asked for space so he is trying to give it to him until Cole tells him to go and take what is his. Unfortunately what he finds just pisses him off more.

Tate just wanted some space to get his mind right after the horrendous altercation at his parents house and the solo one he had with his father. It really was heartbreaking. He knows he wants Logan, that has never been in question. But he can't think with Logan clouding his mind. But that space he asked for unfortunately has Logan pulling away from him a bit. Now he's trying desperately to close that space he wanted.

"You don't get it, do you? It wasn't that I didn't want you. It was because I wanted you so much. I needed space to be able to think. Because around you, all I want to do is fall without thought."

So like I said, many ups and downs. But through it all you never question the chemistry and love these two men have for each other. And just like the previous book there is loads of hot sex. ;)

If you haven't given this series a go I recommend you correct that immediately.

Happy reading dolls! xx
