Surprisingly I've read five of the seven in this poll. I must be a better short story reader than I thought, at least for the classic ones. Brokeback Mountain was probably the one of those I most enjoyed. I'm reading Brecht's one novel now (The Threepenny Novel) , so I'll vote for the Muriel Spark one.

Unlucky me, I have read three of the top four and the one I haven’t read is too far behind to have a chance.
