Except Fernald Feed Materials Production Center, whichwas operated by the DoE,  hid among thesmall towns nearby. The plant had been running since 1951 or so, but few peoplein Cincinnati knew where it was or what it did. The site produced uranium andthorium at the site.

Jeffrey Marks I am enjoying Gregg's book. This is the first one I've read. I think I have it figured out as I'm at about 2/3 done, but we'll see.

The Fergus Hume was interesting. I wasn't sure what to expect with it, but it turned out to be a decent mystery novel.
