About us

Google Antigravity is an agentic development platform, evolving the IDE into the agent-first era. Antigravity enables developers to operate at a higher, task-oriented level by managing agents across workspaces, while retaining a familiar AI IDE experience at its core. Agents operate across the editor, terminal, and browser, enabling them to autonomously plan and execute complex, end-to-end tasks elevating all aspects of software development.

Updates

  • We’re rolling out Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity to paid Google AI Pro subscribers today. Demand has been incredible and we've scaled capacity deliberately to get here. We’ve rolled out a separate weekly-only Argon quota for Pro on top of the existing Gemini bucket for 3.8 Flash so you have the best of Gemini for all your tasks.

  • Gemini 4 Argon is here! It is our frontier model built for complex workflows across real-world software engineering, tested across Google's own codebases on real production challenges. There, we have seen an improvement in both developer velocity, with a 35% increase in agentic code, and code quality, with a 30% decrease in post-submit rollbacks. Rolling out now to Google AI Ultra subscribers, try it in the Antigravity app and the Antigravity CLI.

  • Antigravity 2.0 now features a dedicated planning mode, just like the Antigravity CLI. Type /plan and the agent steps back to think through the task, and conduct extensive research, before generating an implementation plan for your review. The agent will ask for your approval before it begins executing on the task. You can also ask for a plan naturally in your prompt, for a lighter version of a plan.

  • Run open models like Gemma 4 completely offline in the Antigravity SDK. Built on Google AI Edge’s LiteRT, you can now run Gemma 4 directly on your local GPU, bringing the core agentic capabilities of Google Antigravity to your local machine. ⚡ Zero API costs 🔒 Code never leaves your hardware 🔌 100% offline execution

  • With our new permissions system, you spend less time approving commands, and more time building. Thanks to improvements to our sandbox, commands now run automatically inside a more secure environment that’s strictly isolated to your project, with no network access by default. The agent can take on more right out of the box while keeping your machine protected. Rolling out today on macOS and Linux.
