Official documents to be recorded in both scripts from 2025

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At its regular meeting today, the Cabinet approved the ‘National Program for Mongolian script III.’  

The National Program aims to ensure preparations to use both scripts - Cyrillic and Traditional Mongolian in legal papers and official documents from 2025, as well as to move into public use of the traditional script.

The Program has reflected 56 measures in four objectives to be implemented in 2020-2024.
