Bio-Remodelling
Bio-Remodelling injections remodel the structure of our skin by stimulating the production of collagen, elastin and fat cells to counteract the effects of skin ageing. They can be used to boost skin hydration, improve skin texture and quality, and improve wrinkles and skin laxity.
Bio-Remodelling injections are not to be confused with volume enhancement and replacement injections, despite being made from the same product; hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance (a complex sugar) that stabilises the skin structure, attracts and binds water, and contributes to the elastic properties of the skin that allow it to remain tight. Whilst this treatment doesn't volumise the skin, it delivers a dual action that nourishes and remodels the skin.
Injections are administered into the skin using an ultra-fine needle at five pre-determined injection points on each side of the face.
For optimal results, an initial cycle of two treatment sessions one month apart is recommended. Results are usually seen approximately one month after the second treatment, and can last up to 6 months. Over time, the HAs are gradually and naturally degraded in the human body. Maintenance treatments are therefore needed to maintain their effects and are recommended at 6 monthly intervals.
Common treatment areas include:
• Face
• Neck
• Décolletage
