Custom frame rate cap[3]
|
- Go to the configuration file(s) location.
- Open
GameUserSettings.ini.
- Change
FrameRateLimit=0 to the desired frame rate cap (e.g. 144).
Notes
- The line already exists in the file and needs to be changed accordingly. Adding it again with a different value will not work.
- If you can't see the above mentioned command, then add the following along with the desired frame rate cap and save the file.

Increase/Decrease Sharpening[3]
|
- Go to the configuration file(s) location.
- Open
Engine.ini.
- Add the following and save the file.
[SystemSettings]
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=1
- This will sharpen the image to offset the blur caused by FXAA and TAA. A value between 0.5-1.0 is recommended, 10 is the maximum. It has no performance impact.

DX12 can be forced with -dx12 and improves performance significantly, but causes crashing on every boss cutscene. No known fix. Skip cutscenes to avoid crashing. |

Launch options
|
Change graphics API to DirectX 12[8]
|
- Find the game in your Steam Library
- Right-click the game name
- Select
Properties
- Add
-dx12 to the launch options
- Can significantly improve performance in CPU limited scenarios, but might slightly reduce performance in some GPU limited scenarios and can also cause gfx glitches like all-black 3D models without textures. Causes crashing to desktop during cutscenes, skip cutscenes to avoid this.
|
Fullscreen issue at launch
The game starts in full window borderless regardless of the saved settings saying fullscreen (exclusive). You have to change screen mode and then go back to fullscreen to actually set the game in real fullscreen exclusive. Forcing DX12 mode (see above) will workaround this issue.
