Spintires is a singleplayer and multiplayer vehicle simulator game in the Spintires series.

The game is longer available digitally due to legal conflicts between Oovee Game Studios and Saber Interactive.^[1]

Legacy build doesn't boot into menu

Modify Config.cfg^[5]

Uncheck any DLCs on the game's DLC page.
Go to <path-to-game>\User and open Config.cfg with a text editor (eg. Notepad).
Remove it's contents and paste this:

Change menu appearance

With some of the DLCs the game's menu level was changed to accommodate for the style of the DLC.

Unpack and load old files^[6]
Go to the `<path-to-game>`. Open an archive with a preferred menu (`Media.zip` contains the original one). Go into the `levels`. Extract `level_menu.dds`, `level_menu.stg` and `level_menu.xml` into the `Media\levels` in the game's main directory.

Change intro appearance

With some of the DLCs the game's intro image was changed to accommodate for the style of the DLC.

Restore the pre-2019 compass and time table

With the 2019 update, the game's interface got a little rework, which changed the art style of the certain HUD elements.

Install Old Compass & Time Table Mod^[8]
Download the archive from the link above. Extract the `User` and `TextureCache` into the `<path-to-game>`.
