Dell Slim Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
Dell has been the go-to name for all-purpose desktops for generations, hitting the sweet spot between price and performance with materials built to last. The Dell Slim is a business-ready tower with a minimal form factor, plenty of ports, and a value-focused selection of components. The Ryzen 5 150 is a solid processor with a 3.3Ghz base clock speed, and coupled with 16GB of RAM, it's got what it takes for everyday web surfing, spreadsheets, and presentations. We also like the multi-monitor connectivity that supports up to four FHD monitors via DisplayPort 1.4 or a pair of 4K screens. Connectivity is also up to date, with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth out of the box.
Dell Pro Tower Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
For another Dell desktop that's built for productivity, the Pro Tower is a hot pick at a 36% discount. While the Core i3 processor isn't the most potent that Intel makes, it's still fairly capable, with integrated Intel 730 graphics that support dual 4K displays via HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. A decent 16GB of RAM lets you keep a ton of tabs open, and a full terabyte of storage is impressive at this price. The case is moderately-sized so it'll fit under or on top of desks, with good airflow and solid connectivity including Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6. If you're setting up a small business or a home office, this is a can-do desktop that won't disappoint.
Asus ExpertCenter PN54 Mini Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
Small-form-factor desktops have become one of the more popular ways to get the power of a tower PC without taking up as much space. Amazon has a tasty discount right now on the Asus ExpertCenter PN54, a compact little rectangle that's designed for both everyday productivity and creative work. Featuring an eco-conscious chassis with toolless access, it's a breeze to pop it open and make modifications, but you shouldn't need to, because the loadout is solid. We have a review of the similar ExpertCenter PN52, where we gave it an "Excellent" rating for its reasonable price and tons of ports. This build comes with a discrete Radeon 860M GPU, making it a solid choice for resource-hungry apps and on-device AI.
GMKtec M6 Ultra Mini Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
Here's another mini desktop that packs a ton of component value into a tiny little case for a tiny little price. The GMKTec M6 Ultra is a solid machine for light gaming and more, with an aging but still versatile six-core Ryzen 5 7640HS processor, decent Radeo 760M graphics card, and the 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD you'd expect at this price point. While it's not going to break any speed records, it has more than enough juice for most users. Physically, it's a compact device that still offers room for expansion inside, with two SO-DIMM slots enabling up to 128GB of RAM and two M.2 2280 slots for additional SSDs. HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, and USB4 outputs let you run up to three displays at once. For under $500, this is a real dazzler of a pocket-sized PC.
Kamrui Pinova Mini Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
If you want an ultra-budget mini desktop option that's great for running a lightweight media server, digital signage, or just a low-octane workstation, this unit from Chinese company Kamrui packs a big punch in a tiny size. The four-core AMD Ryzen 7330U is an above-average performer in its price range, with integrated Radeon graphics for better visual performance, and a full 16GB of RAM is astonishingly generous for a desktop under $350. Bigger storage on the boot drive would be nice, but it has two storage expansion slots, one SATA/NVMe PCIe 3.0 and one SATA, so you can add more drives with ease. Plenty of ports and solid Wi-Fi round this one out.
Here's an extremely solid desktop with a full 1TB drive for a nice price. The 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor is a zippy model that tackles productivity and light entertainment tasks with ease, and a full 16GB of DDR5 RAM lets it stretch its legs with capable multitasking. There are some compromises you make for the price, including a Windows 11 Home install and a wired keyboard and mouse instead of wireless ones, but this unit is bundled with an 8-in-1 USB hub to boost the port count to make up for it. On the whole, this is very much worth your time.

HP 24 OmniStudio All-In-One Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
If you don't want to deal with the more advanced technical aspects of setting up a desktop, an all-in-one PC might be the solution, and Amazon has a massive 30% discount on an awesome HP model. With a 24-inch FHD IPS display boasting a 90% screen-to-body ratio, the monitor houses all the computer's chips, along with a good selection of ports for all your peripherals. Of note is the pop-up webcam, which gives you a physical way to turn it off and make sure you're staying private. The included wired keyboard and mouse are both effective, if nondescript. Our one pain point is the skimpy 128GB of system storage, but this bundles a 500GB removable drive along with it.
Dell 27 All-In-One Desktop Early Prime Day Deal
For an all-in-one with a bigger screen, this Dell model is a top choice. The more potent Intel Core 5 processor gives you smoother and more reliable performance on productivity apps, and streaming video looks bright and sharp on the 27-inch FHD display, with 99% sRGB color coverage and Dell ComfortView Plus blue light filtering. Dual Dolby Atmos-tuned 5w speakers make it a solid choice for an entertainment center. We have a comprehensive review of this PC, giving it a solid rating for its modern design and well-considered chipset. Our test model had just 12GB of RAM, but this build boosts it to 16GB for faster multitasking and more capability. Amazon has an 11% discount before Prime Big Deal Days.

Before You Click Buy, Here Are 5 Things to Consider to Make Sure You're Getting the Best Deal on a Desktop
Joe Osborne has been writing about and testing PCs for 15+ years now, so he's the first person we went to on the PCLabs team to get some expert advice on desktop deals.
Stick with these specs to win. Look for a relatively recent processor in the Intel Core Series 3 200S line or AMD Ryzen 400 series, at least 16GB of memory, and a solid-state drive for storage. The GMKtec M6 Ultra Mini satisfies from a component standpoint.
Make sure it has wireless connections. Not every desktop out there has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and if they do, they’re not always on the latest connection standards. Look for at least Wi-Fi 6 (see the deal on the Dell Pro Tower Desktop) and Bluetooth 5 support.
Don’t pay for more PC than you need. Pricing of PC components is skyrocketing amid the memory crisis, but most at-home desktops shouldn’t cost you more than $1,300 to deliver the performance and features you need. The deal on the Dell 27 All-In-One desktop will get it done for you.
Make smart upgrades. If you’re upgrading your current desktop, make sure you’re actually making a measurable leap in performance. Pay attention not only to the spec sheets, but also read reviews with benchmark testing to see what the new components actually deliver, and whether that’s worth the cost to you. Something like the Asus ExpertCenter PN54 represents a real step up from the norm at a good price.
Stay in your performance lane. If you’re just an average home computer user, then don’t overspend on a gaming system, get some thing simple and affordable like the HP 24 OmniStudio All-In-One Desktop that's around $600 on sale. Likewise, don’t buy a workstation desktop thinking that it can run PC games well (it can't).
