American music is a global powerhouse and one of our strongest economic and cultural exports. RIAA advocates for strong protection and enforcement of copyright around the world to secure the rights of American music creators internationally and boost the US music economy and music industry jobs.

RIAA works with US and foreign governments, international organizations, and global creative community partners to remove barriers to the creation and distribution of music in foreign markets, address piracy and other global threats to music creators, and to develop strong, pro-creator policies in emerging areas like AI.
