The SongAh Chae Trio,

based in Valencia, Spain, performs contemporary jazz where composition and improvisation merge into a single evolving voice. Rather than fixed compositions, these materials are reshaped in performance through structure, space, and interaction.

A trilogy inspired by Genesis, the Gospels, and the Psalms. Three albums exploring creation, calling, and reflection through lyrical contemporary jazz.

The Sacred-Text Trilogy:

  • All Day Long (2026, July 10) — Psalms: meditative and collective improvisation.

  • Calling in the Wilderness (2025) — Gospels: lyrical dialogue and exploration of calling.

  • In the Beginning (2024)— Genesis: spacious improvisation reflecting creation.

Each album forms part of a conceptual journey, bridging composition and improvisation to create immersive musical experiences.
