I’m gonna put this out here since I’m getting a lot of new followers and I just want to make sure we’re on the same page! 

 I’m trans (this is not a recent development),  not going to get into the details of it!  But I’m currently having a bit of a time sorting out my own preferred pronouns.  Currently going by she-they, this is a recent development. 

I tend to portray a lot of characters as various kinds of queer, I am also queer, if for some reason you find this upsetting I am very sorry but this probably isn’t the blog for you.

I've been working on this guy for the better part of a month and a half now. finished It not too long ago, but got very nervous to post it, its technically part of a show I'm putting on, but I thought I'd share it here too!

been playing the tomodachi life demo! they are so silly I love them.

trying to name an oc, and was scrambling a buncha letters around to get the vibe I wanted, thought I had it.

my buddy tuna and I where joking about how angels probably can't smoke, and it came around to the idea of Gabriel burning incense in his helmet like a walking censer/thurible and just smelling violently like frankincense and sage all the time

I thought the idea was rather fun so have some doodles!

v1 is an artificially made lifeform. basically a soul that grew into the armor like a hermit crab. without it v1 would wither away and die. he needs blood to keep himself alive. so it is in a sense "eating" even if its more like fuel for his magic. he can feel sensation through the armor as if it was skin- since it essentially IS for him.

Gabriel on the other hand, is a spirit trapped in a flesh and blood body. so while he bleeds and feels like a regular human, that in of itself is very strange and limiting to him. it is unclear what would happen if his body dies. as far as he knows, it would kill him. the council claims they have a way to free him if he follows their orders.

v1 looooves being alive and learning and feeling and has an immense capacity for fun and cruelty both. his drive to continue living stems mostly from wanting to experience more of life.

Gabriel is struggling to understand what exhaustion and hunger are. he's never been cold before. or warm, it's very hard to experience "comfort" when you are above physical sensation, his drive to continue living stems quite immensely from a fear of what happens if he does. if he cannot return to heaven or hell, does he simply cease to be?

unfortunately I am violently dyslexic! so I am not very good or fast at fic writing, but people absolutely have my blessing to write things! just @ me so I can read it!! (and if you have questions abt lore do ask! I love yapping about my plans)

Oh goodness this is such a kind ask!  My longest running fandom is transformers, and we make au’s like nobodies business over there, so it shocked me no one had done this yet!!  I figured I might as well, even if I’m not the most skilled! 

And reading this, this is exactly what I was going for.  The original meeting is very much a “keep your distance and don’t make eye contact and maybe it will leave” but v1 just, doesn’t. And eventually it ends up being more helpful than it is frightful.  So they slowly warm up to him.  They’ve all heard rumors of something wicked in the woods nearby, they hope maybe he will keep them safe from it. (Unfortunately, he IS it lol)  

But yes! The observation that he very specifically doesn’t serve anyone is especially true,  to the point where eventually the villagers claim him as theirs, so he can have some sort of title. Even it’s a rather lowly one. (Thought its about as good as naming a stray cat) 

I also think the idea that animals are strangely drawn to v1, despite his hellish nature, is very compelling.  They seem to know he’s more like them than a human.  Meanwhile birds flee wherever Gabriel goes,  something about him seems to put fear in most creatures just by proximity.  (It makes him rather sad) 

Also fun fact, v1 chirps through stridulation, like a cricket!!  Just with armor plates instead of chitin He is a weird bug to me :)

Gabriel gets overwhelmed by people asking him to dance, v1 gets dragged in to be a replacement. and takes it as a challenge. they may not be allowed to fight at a formal event but they sure do get close.

and then Gabriel goes and blows his cover as an inhuman, and everything spirals into chaos. :)

Gabriel is forced to go to a formal event for the council, he has no grasp on what is considered "formal/proper" to humans, so he's maybe a little nervous.

wanted to make sure it read very clearly as "divine being sealed inside a vessel" and not as the armor itself thats alive, since that is the primary difference between himself and v1!

the armor itself does warp a little bit with his emotions, enough that it might be a little freaky to the townsfolk, should they pay enough attention.

he also has to be careful not to permanently blind anyone by accident, since seeing his bare "face" does bad things to a regular human,

very embarrassed to ask, but does anyone have ultrakill fic recommendations? I'll take nearly anything, but I feel like I might be missing some of the better ones just from browsing.
