Passion for Markers Die challenge

Hi folks

I was helping out in Holly's shop this morning so I'm a bit late sharing this card, which is for our new challenge at Passion for Markers - our lovely Lorraine has chosen a great theme of use die cuts, right up my street.
We also have a new sponsor for PFM - Alex Syberia Designs and we were able to choose one of their fab images to work with - I just love this gnome line up -it's called Valentine Gnomes Slimline panel but I think it is also perfect for sending anyone a cheer up/thinking of you card - especially with this sentiment from Inkadinkadoo.

Of course there's a few Marianne Designs products used which I've listed below. The Rainbow papers are so pretty!.

Marianne Products Used

Rainbow Paper set - PK9175
Tag Die - CR1510
Grass Die - CR1335
DL Stitched Frame Die Set - CR1537

Other products used - the Sun die is from Lawn Fawn and the clouds are Memory Box.

The lucky winner of this week's challenge will win a £10 voucher to spend in their digital store so do come and join in - just remember to tell us what markers/pens you've used.
All my teamies at PFM have used an image from Alex so check them out here - gorgeous makes!

New Baby cards

I was delighted to hear that a great friend has recently become a Grandma for the first time so I made these cards, one for the proud new parents and one for my friend. The elephant image is from Inkadinkadoo, the babygro is a Memory Box die and the sentiment on this card from PaperTreyInk.  The papers and these cute little footprints are from Marianne Designs which I've listed below.

Marianne Designs Products
Papers - Hooray A Boy - PB7064
Footprint Stamp and Die set - CS1085

For the next card I've kept the sentiment as the main focus - it is one of my favourites for baby cards, from Lili of The Valley.  The little perched rabbit is from Charlie and Paulchen, the papers are the same Marianne set and I've framed them with a stitched square die from Marianne Designs - in the scalloped Squares Die Set - LR0767

Off to my craft room now, as it's such a miserable day here!

It's Nativity Play season

Well it is Nativity Play season here in the UK so I had to use this gorgeous Mo image -  Nativity Play -   when I heard that our little Violet is going to play Mary in her  first school Nativity!  We think she'll be very nervous but it's going to be shown by video link and we don't think she has any words!  I was the Angel Gabriel in my first play and I think Nick was T for the Tree!!

I've used some old favourite dies from Memory Box including the star and candle dies. The wise men and sheep are Joanna Sheen Dies.

We have Violet here today while her Mummy and Daddy are at work and we're going to get the decorations out  It's going to be carnage!!

Have a great weekend whatever you're up to!

Teen Genius for the new challenge on Mo's Challenge blog

I sort of feel that today's card is rather appropriate given the global problem with those pesky Corona virus germs!  Here's hoping those clever scientists are busy working on a vaccination or something similar.  For now just keep washing those hands!

This is Teen Genius from Mo's Digital Pencil and he's for the new challenge over on the DP2 Challenge blog here where this month's theme is simply the colour Green.

I've kept him quite simple because the papers are quite busy-from Graphic 45. The little test-tubes and conical flasks were from my friend's stash and the little bubbles are a Memory Box  die set that has been in my stash an age!!
Check out the fabulous green makes of Mo's DT here on the challenge blog and then come and join in our challenge!!  Keep washing those hands!!

Happy weekend!

Mo Pussywillows

Have yo seen this new image, Pussywillows at Mo's Digital Pencil?  Isn't she wonderful!
She comes with a a couple of sentiments and I used Thinking of You originally but when I was inking the edges the ink smeared and that was after I'd left the image printed overnight. I've never had that before so I was a bit  grrrrrrh!
Anyway, I cut it off and quite like the finished result!

The papers are some from the Pound shop and the wildflower die is a Memory Box one.

We've been car hunting this week and going again today - gosh there's so much out there!

Happy weekend,  folks.

Make it Cute Challenge at PFP

It's Tuesday so it's new challenge day at Passion for Promakers with a great theme of Make It Cute as chosen by our lovely Sue.  This little digi Ellie from Lili of the Valley seemed to fit the brief perfectly!

I've used some old Memory box papers and then just added the Marianne Flourish border for a bit detail - catalogue number LR0269.  The sentiment is also from a Lili of The Valley set.

Our generous sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments Designs and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Some of the design team were lucky enough to use images from Crafty Sentiments designs on their creations this week.

Some of my teamies have worked with a few cuties from Crafty Sentiments so check them out here and then come and play along with our challenge.

Lili of The Valley Polka Dots Baby

I couldn't resist this new digi image from Lili of The Valley when it came out recently!   He/She is called Polka Dots and is such a sweetie.  I know loads of littluns who have had a snuggle bunny too so extra cute!!
I've coloured the image with my Promarkers and added some white gel pen to the polka dotsto make them pop.
My papers are First Edition, the sentiment is Inkadinkadoo.  The little babygros are Memory Box but can't remember who the animal border die is by!  Of course, I do know that that Baby Fawn is Marianne - COL1401.

We have our Violet this afternoon for Nanny and Grandad time, so need to do a few jobs first.
At least it's Friday- happy weekend everyone!

Passion for Promarkers - Weather Challenge

Well, who would have thought we'd be in the middle of a heatwave when I chose our Weather themed challenge for Passion for Promarkers many months ago! I thought my card would be more representative of the weather for June!

Anyway, I've used an exploding box die from Marianne Designs for my card, along with the fabulous Splash from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I used her as she reminded me of our little Violet who loves jumping in a muddy puddle!!  Not just any old puddle, a muddy puddle!  (I think it's from Peppa Pig!!)
The papers are from Tonic Studios and the Umbrella is a Memory Box die - everything else is from Marianne - full list below.  I also added some glossy accents to her her coat, boots and hat! Oh and I do love the splash die which comes with a dolphin and a ball!

She's Still got It

I love this image from Mo- She's Still Got It is her name, and she comes with the sentiment above and a couple of others - bargain!!

I coloured her with my trusty PMs and layered her up on these gorgeous NitWit papers from Lili of The Valley.  I cut the Memory Box music score die to make it look as though she it was going behind her.  And finally there's a fabulous Marianne Die for the doily edges - LR0455- Creatables Classic Border die.
That's it for today - Happy 1st of June!!

Vintage wedding

I made this wedding card for the daughter of one of  my oldest and dearest friends, who got married at the weekend.  We weren't able to make it to the evening celebrations but I'm sure their day was wonderful.
I used papers from Scrap and Craft for the vintage style and cut out the gothic stained glass window with a Memory Box die, and used the off cut to stamp my sentiment from Inkylicious. I made the little frame below using some Cloud  Air clay so it's nice and light and the tassels were made with a Marianne die - Tassel Fringe Die set LR0391.

Oha and I made a box to match with a Paper Trey Ink stamp for the sentiment and a Martha Stewart Punch Round the Page set for the border.
There are lots of bits and pieces from stash too, including some bits of vintage lace, a Memory Box rose corner die, , peals and muslin.

Thanks for stopping in peeps!
Hugs, Juliexx
