Coming out of hibernation with hopeful eyes set on the promise of Spring, Lights & Motion will drop the luminous, atmospheric and emotionally charged 6 song mini album on May 29. "Bloom II" is the follow-up / sibling release to "Bloom" (2018) which boasts a staggering 100 Million global streams. Layers of shimmering piano, reverb-soaked guitars, soaring melodies and expansive strings create an immersive listening experience that feels both intimate and epic.

There is a slow, intentionally-paced, intellectual, and clear-eyed quality to Hammock's music. This album seems to have both austerity and warmth; like much of Hammock's music, a tension of both hope and sorrow that refuses to be resolved. "Afraid to Go Home" resonates deeply and intimately with me. I can't describe it very well. It's worth a listen.
