I’m looking for work right now, and it’s a shit show. This process feels identical to what I faced a decade ago. Just now, it has AI flavoring with less jobs in the pool due to all the tech layoffs. You now get to compete with 10x as many people.

I’ve been debating if I want to go back to school or not. It’s not nearly as bad as it is in America. But there’s still the risk of going, having to pay off loans and not actually being able to get a job in your given field.

I keep reading articles that make excessive use of the sentence structure “that’s not X, its Y” and it makes me think it’s being written or edited with AI. It’s annoying because it might not be at all, but it’s such a common thing to see with AI usage I can’t tell anymore.

I read a coment or two from alleged TSA agents online saying that they were not informed of any assistance coming from Ice, nor would Ice be able to assist with anything as they would need to be trained to actually be useful for anything.

Oh shit I would consider getting this game now. I know the voices were done with text to speech tools and not the same as AI voice stuff, but I think it’s better to keep the artistry in games and not remove that element if possible.

I would rather people just enjoy what I make and spread the word. The extra exposure and support get you further as a “content creator” than the small amounts of ad revenue.

Unless you’ve got a huge audience, but even at that point, the highest paid creators on youtube are still making bank even with ad blockers, so… I don’t really understand the argument. If you’re a small creator, you’re not really making enough to support yourself, and it seems like the smart move is to not rely on ad revenue at all.

I’ve seen a lot of people saying this might just end up being a false flag attack. I think regardless of if it happens or not, the main point to hammer home is that the USA should not have started bombing Iran and had no business doing so and should cease all war activities and make amends in whatever ways necessary.

That last part is laughable because they wouldn’t and likely couldn’t make amends. But realistically, that would be the best path forward.

Otherwise, US citizens are looking at another decade(s) plus war with no winning condition and needless bloodshed. Every bomb dropped is a potential attack directed to US soil 10-20 years in the future (or sooner). They’re just creating lifelong enemies.

Another thing to remember is that the rich love this because there’s shit tons of money to be made off of war. The billions and trillions of dollars pumped into this could be spent on helping the american public with food, medical aid, and housing.

All I want is for DICE to make another Mirrors Edge similar to the first game. Maybe some of these devs will help make it happen now that they’re free
