I kinda didn’t have a plan when I organized the vote so the process was a bit messy, but as this song was one of the biggest English vocaloid song of 2025 I think it would’ve been a favorite either way.

I guess that would be good. I assumed that Vocaloid is niche enough to not have any „international hits“, but songs like „Miku“ by anamanaguchi are probably still too mainstream.
I think something like 1m views on YouTube should be a good limit to exclude the mainstream while still allowing artists that are popular within the community.
