I know what a “warm water port” is supposed to describe but what word would an American use ?

The US has ports up its entire coastline to Maine and Washington State that don’t freeze over. Warm water is a Russian tell because their ports do freeze over for months at a time in winter.

But yes, they can be called ports, or docks, or even seaport like airport.

Well, when you have a small number of sides to take, the odds are good of some of the worst people taking the same one as you.

But this is not the “About this account” tab, which doesn’t expose your city, email, or device type. It looks like a document on a pastebin-style service (it has voting and report options, number of views, etc.). So how did they get the additional info?

Edit to add: My gut says “they made it the fuck up to discredit someone they dislike on the internet.”

I mean, data leaks have happened on Twitter. So, I’d assume they just acquired that data from the leaked information.

You used to be able to just google and find this kind of stuff. E.g. here you might google that username and find this other document. Of course it doesn’t mean that the author of that document is in fact the same user, like you say someone else could have planted that document to make the OP look bad.

The location I get - any site can track your (apparent) location. But this has full name? Is that information you have to give to Twitter?

Yes you give that to Twitter and most people give their real name. But that data is not exposed, unless you want to. There was a big leak a couple of years ago when someone put massive dataset of Twitter on the internet.
