Capitalism kind of is an algorithm of oppression operating on its own. Replace those on top with new people and it would function identically because it has no moral character. It merely has inputs (us, our dignity, our time, our labor, the finite resources of our world) and outputs (profits, exploitation and pollution), like a machine. Nobody is at the wheel, the direction is determined by short term profits.

Capital is dead labor, that, vampire-like, only lives by sucking living labor, and lives the more, the more labor it sucks
