It's especially odd cause Obama did pretty well by at least lying about fixing problems.
Why would they promise anything anymore? Demand nothing, expect nothing. We don't have that luxury when fascism is one election away. We just need to make sure win every election forever, which is a very reasonable and realistic expectation.
They don't need to win, they need a way of avoiding blaming the politicians they support, which they can accomplish by blaming teh tankies.
